Favorite Metal/core Albums

Not all of them, but these one's mean the most to me other than like every Converge and Botch album, a few others. These albums fugkin transcend.

Love this band so much. Riffs so goddamn hard. Absolutely incredible experimental parts. Their post-metal stuff is absolutely incredible. 5/5
This Is the Second Death

Omg, so good you won't know until you hear the whole. Remote Coagulation and These Days Seem Like Hundreds Of Years Ago are 2 of my favorite songs ever. 4.5/5
3 Harlots

Last song the band ever wrote and definitely one of their best. This 6 minute beast of a song is a gauntlet of mindbending riffs.
Pain Is A Mere Sensation

So heavy, dark, and emotional. Sounds like committing suicide and the slow painful process of dying. 5/5
The Goliath

Love this band, album is a progressive tech metal classically influenced masterpiece, a bit of core influence. Their 2nd album The Joyless Parson is a masterpiece too but they dropped the few core elements and went for a more black metal sound, it's better overall but I still adore this.
The Deus Ex-Machina As A Forgotten Genius (Andy Wa

Transcends so hard. I don't even know what genre this doesn't delve into, and it's all executed so so amazingly well. 4.5/5, probably gonna 5 it though.
An Anthology of Dead Ends

Perfect ep. I could go on and on about this album/band, gonna leave that for the review.

omg so fucking heavy, dense, the tension on this is so intense.
Breaking The Fourth Wall

Another band that really deserves attention, this album is incredible.
10Training For Utopia
Plastic Soul Impalement

thanks Scoot
11Kiss It Goodbye
She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not
12The Ocean
13 Curl Up and Die
The One of Above All, The End of All

Band needs more attention, they rule. This is their best album.
14Norma Jean
Bless the Martyr and Kiss the Child

Doesn't sound like Botch imo, don't get the hate. This album is pretty fucking expansive and explores alot of creative musical soundscapes while still knowing how to get down low at times.
Fixation on a Coworker
16The Bled
Pass The Flask

Never gets old, album is amazing.
17Between the Buried and Me

Best BAM album 5/5
19Breather Resist
20Johnny Truant
No Tears for the Creatures
21The End
Transfer Trachea Reverberations from Point: False Omniscient
22Glass Casket
We Are Gathered Here Today...
23The Secret
24Devil Sold His Soul
A Fragile Hope
The Severing

Needs more attention. Rinoa's old band that fused metalcore and post-rock amazingly
26Buried Inside
Jane Doe
28Sika Redem

Last but not certainly not least, Entheogen is an incredible album that seams screamo, post-rock, post-metal, and metalcore into one hell of an amazing album. This is so overlooked it's upsetting. Too bad it's their only release, these guys were incredible.
