Rec me recent Metal Debut Albums m/!!!!!!

I've noticed that in recent years a whole new bunch of bands not from rany particular rsubgenre of metal just from metal in general are releasing ramazing debut albums and creating rrpromising careers and even new rsubgenres with these debuts. This is one of the reasons rrthat metal is rstill one of the most fresh and interesting genres around, Come at me bra! List rris in no particular order, let me know if I forget any bros, I'm countin on yall! Also give me rsome recs!!!

Probably one of the most obvious choices I could go with, but these guys not only
have a relatively unique and original sound but they execute it perfectly on their
self titled debut. Real catchy and manly shit here. Seriously if you listen to this
album and don't feel the need to drink copious amounts of beer and go on a viking
raid of a neighboring town their is something wrong with you. It'll be interesting to
see how they handle they're sophomore outing.
2Ne Obliviscaris
Portal of I

Another relatively obvious choice, but on Ne Obliviscaris's debut they construct
some of the most beautiful landscapes as well as best integrated clean singing and
flute/violin parts and now they are signed to Season of the Mist working on their
Sophomore album which when finally released will be one of my most anticipated
albums of that year.
3Dragged Into Sunlight
Hatred For Mankind

I guess this one is a little less obvious than some of the others, but to say that
dragged into sunlight's debut is brutal, suffocating, heavy, twisted, and even
remarkably groovy at times is kind of an understatement. This album as truly blown
me away with its formula of excess. Of course these guys have already put out a
sophomore album which is supposed to sound nothing like this and be no where
near as good either. I haven't heard it yet so I still have hope it will bring at least
some mosh.
The Harvest Wombs

Some people will claim that these guys aren't trve enough, but in my opinion they
are a relatively fresh take on technical death metal, and while I will admit they
aren't as good as the other artists on this list they could definitely become
something truly awesome. Definitely gonna have watch out for these guys
sophomore album.

One of the few actually good djent bands currently out right now, seriously if the
rest of the subgenre would be more dark and brooding like these guys I'd think that
I'd fancy it a little better. Think the atmosphere on Catch Thirty Three except with
an interesting trade off between vocalists and a smart and frugal use of cleans.
6Black Breath
Heavy Breathing

On their debut Black Breath definitely pushed the boundaries of their style of
hardcore by bringing back Deathnroll which definitely hasn't sounded this awesome
since Entombed's Wolverine Blues. And of course on their Sophomore album they
totally nailed it again exploring a little more of their Death metal side and definitely
bringing the groove. Definitely looking forward to their third effort.
Called To Rise

Wow this one was released not any longer than a month ago, but I'm already
seeing a great career ahead for these guys. While this album isn't so much original
its definitely a really well done and features some of the best technical death metal
riffs in recent memory. Parts that are original though is definitely the neoclassical
side of Oblivions sound which brinhgs a nice extra dimension to this album.

These guys released their debut about 4 years ago so they barely make it in, but
they are definitely one of the best things to happen to grind in recent memory and
I would say truly bring the classic style of murky, pissed off, fast as fuck grind back
to the forefront. But on their debut Abuse it's definitely when they add their
influences such as clean guitar from punk and thick guitar riffs from death metal
that they truly shine. Also they're sophomore while not quite as good is still a
great listen.
Sorrow and Extinction

Truly one of the heaviest albums I heard last year, and an album that shows that
doom is still alive and well. The melodies and vocals on this monster were some of
the best of 2012.
10Royal Thunder

Honestly this revitalization of 70s psychedelic and prog rock with metal themes that
Ghost(I am indeed looking forward to their sophomore effort though) started a
couple years ago mostly bored me and seem to be more of cliche than anything
else, but luckily for me Royal Thunder came out of it which totally made the whole
thing worth it. Royal thunder are less about the cliche hail lucifer shit and more
about straight up rocking and building epic 10 minute songs centered around one of
the best female vocalists and just vocalists in general. The blues riffs also help
make this album awesome as well \m/!!!!!!
