Very good melodic black metal. Mgla-ish with an American accent. Originally rated at 3.5, but had to increase it the albums gets better with every listen.

While clearly wearing the classic swedish sound of ore (i.e. Dawn, Dissection, Sacramentum) on their sleeves, Uada manages to craft an album that is instantly rewarding on first listen. Catchy riffs and chorus abound, the highly melodic lead guitars and an incredible vocal performance triumph on a record where no second is lost on this short yet magnificient journey

This album makes me wish that melodic black metal/death metal still existed without the cheesiness. There's a 90's influence apparent from bands like A Canorous Quintet and Sacramentum that has a mesmerizing effect on you, and best for listening at night. Tons of melodic riffs in every song, each well-thought out enough to evoke emotions of sorrow and regret.
