3.0 good | Gameofmetal EMERITUS | March 5th 24 | The clean vocals really hold up what is probably a pretty seminal vintage black/death metal record. Lot to appreciate here in spite of that.

4.5 superb | alkostach | April 2nd 22 | One of the wildest trips in extreme music. It's as eclectic as it gets but the underlying structures are undeniable. There is a sens of direction within this utter chaos and countless incredible moments scattered throughout this album can be discovered on subsequent listens. The closing track is one of the craziest journeys in music's history. Work of madmen for sure. Lyrically it's a unexpected sidestep into darker and crazier territory, while still staying as blasphemous as it gets. One of the highlights in the history of black metal.

5.0 classic | FearTheAggression | May 5th 16 | This is a BRILLIANT album. It may only seem "meh" at first. Give it more than one listen. Things will start to pop out at you. The way they incorporate the organs and pianos into the brutal feel of the album is just fantastic. Don't know what it is, but the production is flawless to me for this mid 90's black/death metal hybrid. Creates a great atmosphere.
