Review Summary: True Heavy Black Metal with soaring vocals and riffs that never fail to instill life into the tiniest of organisms of lust.

Have you ever just woken up one day and were like 'what am I going to do today'? So you went onto youtube and just typed in 'kick my ass' and Blaspheme came up. Well this isn't a coincidence. It really happened to me! And it can happen to you too. First of all before you embrace the journey self-realization you must rid yourself of false feelings and jump into Desir de Vampyr with an open-positive attitude. Basically Blaspheme is black metal band but better than most black metal you'll find out there. The soaring melodies of vocalist Hardheme Rawk is like being thrown on the back of an eagles rump and being lifted at 30tril knots into outer space and being compressed by the weight of space around you. Take for instance "Orgie Romaine" which isn't about lettuce. It's about pure black metal and soaring vocals and hate and wisdom. Basically the track itself is about orgies that used to happen during the Roman days and this one man was butt fisted for 3 days straight. Well Hardheme was able to properly portray the pain and disbelief of what it must feel like to experience such pain. When he hits the high soaring vocals at 2:02 you actually feel the repeated-relentless pumps. This is what makes this album truly succede because they don't sing about what time of the day it is or how the sunset affected their mothers, no, these French experts are singing about life changing experiences.

The production here is spot on and greatly compliments everything perfectly. On "Saint d'esprit" we have the anthem of the milenium take flight and cover the very oceans of life. The memorial riffs is able to be perfectly understood beneath the vocals of passion that never dissapoint. In fact the melodies from Lasfert and Hcheme are very catch and play a big part of how enjoyable the albums feel is. At times the riffs will melt ice and at times they will set forests ablaze. To illustrate. Picture firey torches being sprayed across the sky. Well eventually because of the natural atmospheres circular hemipheres the blazing fires will eventually hit something. So either they're going to hit a forest tree because those trees are really high from the ground or they will hit ice glaciers because scientifally ice attracts fire. So there you have it this album is both firery and eagle like but once get over to the track called "Au nom des morts" you will be completely blown away simply because its one of my favorite tracks here. The opening melodies alone are just simply amazing. Every times i hear them I instantly feel like I'm in a different realm away from all of the music today that is literred with musicians who don't know what they're doing. When Hardheme's vocals come in its amazing how he effortless can hit notes with his 8 scale octave range. Even Maria Carrey would be impressed with his falsettoes. This album has great flow and its amazing how each song sounds completely different from the next. Sometimes tracks will blast and other times they'll swing. But whenever being blasted or swung Blaspheme will always tear your head off simply because the vocals and riffs are alien to humankind.

@Captain
No. They're thrash so I might check them out. I like thrash but I dont know that many bands outside of the 'essentials'.

@Pissbore
Yeah, I knew Blaspheme. I came across them while I was searching through 80s metal (I love the classics). They're great, they're not Black metal though, I dont know what the reviewer is talking about, but they're great. And thanks, man. I'll check that band out.

That was incredible, definitely going to try and find the album. Someone in the page compared them to Vektor, definitely share the 'technical' thrash and scream vocal sound.
