Post A Guide To Different Types Of Acoustic Drum Sets

The world of drums is enormous, and is an interesting ground for exploration. Therefore, it is necessary to know about different types of drum sets.

The acoustic drum set is the most common and familiar type of drum set in Drum lessons, however, there are a lot of variations in size and configuration:

Jazz drum- These drums are light in weight with shallow depths and smaller bass drum.

Fusion drum- These drums allow quicker playing due to their faster response than other drum sets.

Rock drum- These drums are mostly preferred by the aspiring drummers as they allow for quicker playing because of the fast response.

Electronic and virtual drum set- These drum kits are available in a range from basic to professional. They work with interactive software and apps to provide everything from tutorials to different sounds. There is a wide array of sounds with samples in the kits.

Triggers- The triggers are very handy in recording the live applications to improve and clarify the sound or to provide backing tracks.

Auxiliary drum set- These are used for solo applications or in bands in addition to a drum set. They include elements like drums, bells, blocks, triangles, chimes, etc. To enhance the performance.
