[Video] I need some Feedback

Hey Guys,

I am new to the forum here and I would like some constructive feedback. My band and I have recentley taken a creative turn and gone more progressive. I am curious as to what you guys think. Also there will be vocals in the future.

My Equipment
VHT 50-CL
TC Electronics G-System
Monster Power Conditioner
Dbx Supressor/Compressor
EBMM JP

Other Guitarist
Peavey 5150 II
Custom Warmoth
Boss Me-50

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJ2l2yxpCD8

I know the sound quality isn't great but what do you guys think of the muzak?

Thanks Man! We actually just moved to LA about a year ago from Iowa to pursue music. We kinda took a hiatus from shows to work on new stuff. The pay play lifestyle out here sucks though.

Thanks for the input guys. If anybody has any suggestions for bands we should listen to (you know, influences) based on what you see here, we'd greatly appreciate it. Also since it's tough to be objective about your own stuff, any constructive criticism?

Well, the only crit I have really is that the drums are completely buried in the mix on your song "Conqueror". Bring those drums up man!

No crits on "Infinite Justice" though really, it's pretty much win all over.

Sounds like really good stuffs, I'm impressed, although I agree on the drums, they need to be brought out more in certain bits.

Other than that, general win I really like the guitars closing bit around the early four minute mark btw.

Swap you? Fancy critiquing us too?

No problem man thanks for taking the time to listen...
I like to vocals on NOW pitch is good. The drums are off at times throughout the song they get ahead of the beat. The solo section has a lot of potential your guitarist needs to use some vibrrato and lay off the gain a bit. Overall pretty solid. Nice work!

Listen to "The blue Letter." I get that kind of a vibe from you guys.

Edit: Listen specificly to the song "We'll Cut down the trees"

Not really my cup of tea, but you guys have a decent sound.

Duly noted, thanks, I'm a bit noob when it comes to lead, i'm normally rhythm.

Thanks for giving us a listen too, much appreciated

It's actually a lot more vibrant i would blame the lights for making it look poop green.

I like the colour - it's the Jackson headstock, especially reversed, that puts me off it a bit.

Sounds like you were influenced by Tool, and a newer progressive band or two.
