Hell yeah. Aborted rule. Their new album is top-notch just like the rest of their albums. Engineering Th Dead is my favorite Aborted album.

It's a matter of principle that I won't listen to any band with 'Abortion', 'Corpse', 'Crypt-anything', 'Necro-anything', 'Mutilated-anything', or 'Hate-anything' in their name. And for a good reason.

Ok but was there really a point of posting that?

Was there really a reason of (sic) you registering?

As to why...because none of them are ever good. Some bands you can just tell by their name (or sometimes T-shirts) what they sound like.

Wrong, you lose.

I don't know if you're into death metal and the like, but if that's how you decide which band to listen to, you're really missing out on some great bands.

Oh, and another thing. The only way to find out what a band sounds like is to listen to their music, and not just look at a fucking t-shirt.

On topic: Aborted are great, and I really like Goremageddon.

Yes there was a point of me registering which was to become a member of this board.

Your post was pointless and brought nothing to the thread.

aborted...

i kind of have to agree with jude, i've noticed that alot of bands with something refering to gore or some sort of mutiliation sound somewhat alike.

not that im complaining though, death metal (non-melodic) isn't my cup of tea, but i'd listen to it...easily

Judging a band by their name is close minded, idiotic, and just plain dumb. But if you're a dumb, close minded idiot...then I guess that's what you do.

Anywho...Aborted is really good. I don't like their newest that much. Goremageddon was really good, but the EP just wasn't worth the money. Engineering the Dead was really good as well. All of their full length albums have been really good. And the video for Meticulous Invagination...oh. One of the best extreme metal videos ever.

So...

Cryptopsy, Necrophagist, Aborted etc etc are all crap? Even though they are certianly on top of their genres?

You are one hell of a moron. You may not like the music, but to say a band sucks with out hearing them based around the name of the band is absurd and is extremely close minded.

But any who, Aborted have grown on me, I have all of their albums which I got from a friend, great stuff.

The solo to Meticulous Invagination is great, I love it when death metal bands put nice melodic solos into the music.

What I've heard of them I like. They remind me somewhat of mid-Carcass, with fewer rough edges.

What songs/albums should I start out with first?

Goremageddon is probably the easiest to get into. It's IMO their best produced album. Their sound was a lot more polished on that album.
