Seems to just be an old and abandoned mod hide-out.

4) Your beats are so bland it makes me want to call vanilla ice and tell him to teach you how to make even a bad to average beat. For starters, snare does not ALWAYS have to be on the 3.
1) I don't recall a single snare "on the 3"; maybe one got by me in a fill or something. At the very least the major beats only had the snare on the 2 and the 4 aka the backbeat.

Since I have a Wii now, I went out and bought the Wind Waker, again. God, what an awesome game.

fatbandit 06-21-2009 05:32 AM

I've been playing PSone games recently. Vagrant Story kicks so much ass.
While I agree with pretty much everything you said.

Your comment about MIDI irks me.

You do realize most if not all (if you count the midi technology used to sample) rap music uses MIDI. 'Specially these days. So why do you say it like "omg don't use MIDI, it's so lifeless"?(is that what you're getting at?) Or am I misunderstanding in a big way?:\

Because we all know; It's the production of most MIDI that makes it lifeless, not the technology itself.

Obv no beef, just confused lol
eh midi can be used well i suppose personally i have a deep-seeded hatred but that's just me....

but it was not used well in that context and you know it

electric requiem: you gotta learn to count musics son

edit: i take that back we were on a different wavelength i was counting what you would consider eighth notes as each beat probably my bad i have a tendency to count in double time not that it matters you still know what i'm talking about

Spaceman Spiff 06-21-2009 11:05 AM

I watched WALL-E last night. That is an amazing movie.

Gattsu347 06-21-2009 01:45 PM

our first show was an amazing success. there was about 7,000 people in the park, maybe about 5-7 hundred watching our set when we played at lunch. 8 song set and we killed it. we have two shows in july.

Spaceman Spiff 06-21-2009 01:51 PM

Did you guys get any audio or video of the show?

Yeah its not a big deal, you were just counting in 8/8 (EDIT: 4/8) when the song is in 4/4 ;)

Spaceman Spiff 06-21-2009 03:23 PM

Can anyone upload me some Frusciante albums? I'd be very grateful.

Ting 06-21-2009 03:53 PM

Now I'm just trying to find things to do instead of study.

fatbandit 06-21-2009 04:07 PM

i'm sure i remember you...

azn, rite?

Just use a torrent, guy. Faster for everyone.

My computer has been having trouble with torrents lately, otherwise I would.

I've just been google searching for people who post albums up on blogs. I've found a few of his albums so far. I wouldn't be surprised if I can find them all this way.

4/8 really if he 2 & 4 backbeat in 4/4 was interpreted as being on the 3 of each bar.

God, charts would fly by in 4/8.

I've got The Empyrian, all suggestions on where to upload?

gaslight 06-21-2009 06:17 PM

All of his albums are on soulseek unless that's too slow for you.

Spaceman Spiff 06-21-2009 06:21 PM
I've got The Empyrian, all suggestions on where to upload?
Rapidshare, Megaupload, Sendspace, any of them will do. Thanks, dude.

Moon Flavor 06-21-2009 06:47 PM

Yeah I guess I don't really sight read at all ever. I've played drums for almost 3 years now and 4/8 is just the way I always count in my head I guess (well at least when playing in 4)

funkyhoney 06-21-2009 06:52 PM

Based on current upload speed should be about an hour hahaha, that fails. I'm gonna take a shower and hope it's just done when I get back.

Heh weird.
I'm a drummer myself, about 5 years now I think (although I haven't really played much in the last two thanks to university).

I'm just starting to learn bass since I can play it in my room at any hour without making everyone want to kill me.

Also, try searching the name of the album plus the name of one of those file upload websites. You'd be surprised at what you can dig up (i.e. almost anything).

Moon Flavor 06-21-2009 07:28 PM

mediafire is the best file uploading site then megaupload

most of the others are intolerable unless you can't find the album elsewhere. especially rapidshare urgh i hate that ****

Spaceman Spiff 06-21-2009 07:31 PM

Meh. They're all the same to me.

Moon Flavor 06-21-2009 07:34 PM
Meh. They're all the same to me.
yeah i guess

when you download 30 albums in a day and rapidshare is making you wait a half hour between downloads and not letting you download two things at once it gets pretty irritating

gaslight 06-21-2009 07:34 PM

I don't like the one that makes you wait like a minute to download stuff and only lets you have one download at a time.

Moon Flavor 06-21-2009 07:39 PM
I don't like the one that makes you wait like a minute to download stuff and only lets you have one download at a time.
that would be rapidshare

edit: i'm pretty sure it's actually 90 seconds but it seems to count the seconds slower than real seconds

BenJammin 06-21-2009 07:43 PM

Yeah, Rapidshare blows.

Ting 06-21-2009 07:57 PM

Hmm. Just ate a whole box of KD. I feel like a slob

Efrim 06-21-2009 08:40 PM

Spiff wants Frusciante? Can deliver, what do you want?
