....who have had at some point none of the original members who started it originally?

I've always wondered this but never come across any. Also at what point would a band stop being authentic to the name and the members really should change it?

Mayhem come close, with the exception of Hellhammer.

I don't think Throwdown has any original members after the bassist left last year.

Greatful Dead maybe? not 100% on that one

2 out of 6 from the dead are in fact dead. the other 4 still play. some more than others. but the dead havent played together in a long time anyway

Negative, the Grateful Dead had four members that played every show with them. After Jerry died, the remaining members toured as the Dead (technically a different name) a few times.
