Mostly greatness. A funny thing happened earlier today with The Blue Album. I stopped at a friend's house to drop off a wire. His driveway's a sheet of ice, so when I pulled in, I slid right off it and into the woods. I then popped in that album, and "Say It Ain't So" is the first track that comes on. What a perfect song for digging your car out of the woods and snow. The engine ejected the CD as my friend and I were trying to get the vehicle unstuck, and upon reintry, "Say It Ain't So" came on again. I swear, Weezer had some wicked magic back then.

Ahem.

I know how you feel :( I've just given up on getting it from them. It's supposed to be out in HMV stores from the 19th, so I'll just be getting it there, I think.

What do you think of Endless Nameless and FFL, though? And which FFL did you get?

Well it was just announced that mine has been delayed a further two weeks. After which it's gonna have to be forwarded from home to here :(
I'm happy to wait for it though, as hopefully I'm gonna get one of the ones with the messed up cover, thus making it special.
What do you think of Endless Nameless and FFL, though? And which FFL did you get?
Eh...they still need to arrive. I have more faith in people from Ebay though :)
Re-issue of FFL. I had most of it downloaded anyway which I adore.
I'll just have to wait and see with Endless.. I know what the general opinion is of it but I still want it.

There are still good songs on there, as always. You just have to listen harder than usual.

EDIT: On topic, picked up/received over the last few days;

Winnebago Deal - Dead Gone
Winnebago Deal - Plata O Plomo
The Beatles - Revolver
Minutemen - Double Nickels on the Dime
Aesop Rock - Fast Cars, Danger, Fire and Knives

I think Winnebago Deal have gotten the most listens since then. Possibly because they're the simplest.

RQ, you must have like 750 + records right?

nyltiak 01-12-2006 04:10 PM

Depeche Mode - Catching up with Depeche Mode
Sonic Youth - Daydream Nation
Coldplay - X & Y
Metric - Live it Out
The Mars Volta - De-Loused in the Comatorium

I also wanted to buy Jurassic 5(Quality Control), DJ Shadow(Endtroducing...) and Massive Attack(Mezzanine), but there's no way I'm paying over 20$ for a CD, no matter how good it is.

RollerQueen 01-12-2006 04:44 PM
RQ, you must have like 750 + records right?
I have a dozen albums on vinyl, and I've sold back a considerable amount of records. If I kept everything I bought, I'd easily have nearly a thousand albums. As of now, I have about 250.

As a side note, my record player's timing's off. 33's and 45's both play too slow. Curses.
