Challenge 138 - Thread To Talk In

So I was listening to minimalism and stuff and there's the thread

talk about how enough people aren't entering/voting

Dancin' Man 08-09-2008 12:27 PM

I wrote my final in music history on how Battles is a direct result of the american minimalist movement, specifically Steve Reich. I got an A.

Surf 08-09-2008 12:44 PM

Challenge 138 - Reich didn't have the same ring to it.

Surtr 08-09-2008 01:34 PM

I don't understand... :(

Though Steve Reich is good lol.

Dancin' Man 08-09-2008 03:43 PM

Steve Reich > Phil Glass

Think of all the useful sues of Reich...

–noun
1. (with reference to Germany) empire; realm; nation.
2. the German state, esp. during the Nazi period.
3. Stephen Michael (“Steve”), born 1936, U.S. composer.
4. Wil·helm 1897–1957, Austrian psychoanalyst in the U.S
Steve Reich > Phil Glass
lies!

they're both awesome but glass has better hair

RunAmokRampant 08-13-2008 01:49 AM

So yeah, I was listening to my poetry tutor talk about his aquaintance with Seamus Heaney and the amount of wine comsumed and antics etc. Amusing to say the least.

Powerban 08-13-2008 09:11 PM

I entered for the first time but hopefully not the last. It's maybe a bit too short but I didn't want to continue on since I thought it was good to end there. =D
