A bit late, but still: try Dutch artists like sax players Benjamin Herman (http://www.benjaminherman.nl) and Candy Dulfer (http://www.candydulfer.nl) or a modern big band called the New Cool Collective (http://www.newcoolcollective.com).

If you want something extra special, the Kyteman Orchestra (http://kyteman.com/#home) might interest you as well. It's not instrumental, but all the more beautiful. The first album is jazz infused with hip hop, while their second album is more classical orientated.

New here and looking for music recommendations. I've used the usual sources for music acquisition like iTunes, http://kazagold.com etc.but I'm finding there's a dearth of recommendations when it comes to stuff I'm more interested in. I particularly enjoy atmospheric/ambient stuff like Harold Budd, Future Sound of London, Brian Eno, Aphex Twin and was hoping to get others if possible. Thanks! :chug:

"This musical stands out as a fun, rocking show!" - Backstage

F#%KING UP EVERYTHING is a rock musical comedy with bongs, thongs and indie rock songs. It's also an old-fashioned boy-meets-girl love story. When these Brooklyn hipsters aren’t true to who they are, they ruin everything. Especially children’s puppeteer Christian Schwartzelberg, when he meets singer-songwriter Juliana, the girl of his dreams.
Featuring a young cast of Broadway's rising stars including Max Crumm (Grease), Jason Gotay (Bring It On), George Salazar (Godspell), and Dawn Cantwell (NYMF's Next Broadway Sensation), a score that rocks the house, and an award winning book by David Eric Davis and Sam Forman, F#%KING UP EVERYTHING will keep you on the edge of your seat and leave you with a “heart on” for days on end.

electronica on cello!

Hi all,

I'm a cellist and I have an all cello electronica album coming out. I'm quite heavy on effects to create different roles for my cello. Here is a link to couple of my tunes. It's all cello... yes, the beat too! Check it out!
