Why was that thread on album-art closed? It was actually interesting and had potential.

It was like 50% spam and it was devolving into people posting random covers (Ma$e?) for no reason.

Convince me of its potential and I'll consider reopening.

I'd just delete the bad posts, rather than closing, but that's your choice to make. Artwork is important to a lot of posters here, so I could see discussion continuing.

But there was literally no discussion going on. It was Mappy posting a couple ugly covers with a vague hypothesis in the title and a bunch of people posting random **** after the fact. Discussion has to start for it to continue.

Would we be able to do a thread that centers around the music projects of the R&M community? I know Pate's band had a thread and all but I think it'd be cool to have a central place to discuss what were all up to as musicians that's not in the pit. In other words I don't wanna start a thread without knowing it's not gonna get closed. Please advise.

post links to where they post said downloads then. you're probably right and the band is probably fine with it but it's kind of a pain in the *** to verify.

It's easier to just ask a band if I can link their ****, and then link their **** on my blog, and then just use that mediafire link as a reference. :o
