Meatplow disobeying his own rules which he made in the Rare OOP DEMO upload thread.
1. Drawing Down the Moon by BEHERIT (Meatplow posted a link to this) is NOT out of print material or a demo or a free release. 2. I even read the first page and followed his second suggestion to google it and MULTIPLE sites came up where you can purchase this on CD and VINYL!! 3. Im pretty sure this is illegal and mr.mx is liable for these illegal links (bannable offense?) Thanks for your time, please remove the post and I think this mod needs to review his own rules he makes, how do you expect the regular posters to follow the rules when the Mods dont even follow their own??? I thought this board was supposed to have changed? |
Next off topic post = 5 day ban.

I thought this board was supposed to have changed?
First of all, stop being butthurt over being banned that one time. You called me out for not having a thick skin, look at the sheer faggotry on display in this post you have just made. You have a habit of posting like a complete cunt, if you don't want to face any consequences stop trolling. Second of all, this is not available through amazon.com or listed on the website of the label who last *officially* reissued it 2006. As FatalEnergy pointed out in that thread, numerous bootlegs abound. On top of this websites often have back catalogues of stuff that they can't restock because the item is out of print, and there aren't half as many as you claim. It's very likely this album is out of print and safe to post, of course if you have evidence to the contrary by all means mention it and i'll remove it. I won't be accepting the level of bull**** you have just bought to this thread however. |
I think it's been re-issued by Candlelight Records so his hostility aside he might be right in this case. It's currently in stock on TheOmegaOrder.

It's deleted.

Can the psychedelic rock thread be merged with progressive rock thread? If prog rock thread doesn't exist can the title of the psychedelic thread be changed to Psychedelic/Prog rock maybe? Because there isn't much attention going to each genre and adding them to the industrial thread's title might create a black hole in mx. Thanks.
|
I'm not sure there's a crossover between Psychedelic Rock and Prog Rock. Definitely none between either of the two and Industrial.
|
Well early prog has a lot of psychedelic influence and they have similarities in later stuff as well. I was just requesting it so that they can be discussed under the same topic, Neofolk and Power Electronics don't have that much in common either. Anyway, not that much of a problem. thanks anyway.
|
Neofolk and Power Electronics
I whole heartedly agree. Were they merged, or something? Because that's amazingly stupid. |
Well the thread title is like that for months now and it seems to be working fine. Otherwise the power electronics thread will be lost and I will get the 741 bytes exceeded! or whatever error when I search for it :p
|
I guess the industrial/neo-folk artists tend to cross over but I still don't think they really intersect musically. Oh well, that's Meatplow's doing, I can't help you there.
|
Yeah I didn't see much logical purpose in neofolk and power electronics / harsh noise being merged
|

I'm not complaining about that thread title lol. Damn I should have posted while you were sleeping and Haz was here :p |
Yeah I didn't see much logical purpose in neofolk and power electronics / harsh noise being merged
They are all post-industrial subgenres. |
I fail to see how neo-folk is post-industrial.
|
Prog rock and psychedelic have a ton in common. See: Pink Floyd, Soft Machine, King Crimson, etc
Note that prog rock is not that spock's beard crap |
I fail to see how neo-folk is post-industrial.
Think about the genre labels for a second, it's a hint... |
Think about the genre labels for a second, it's a hint...
theres a dash in the middle? |
Protip: neo means new.
|
I fail to see how neo-folk is post-industrial.
Most people have a skewed perception of industrial in the first place so it's forgivable. |
