The Guitar Forum community thread (Zomg it's back, but for how long?)
 

This is a test, really. A test of how far the forum has come, a test of whether you guys can use a community thread in the way it is designed.

That means:

[SIZE=5][B]No Spam.[/SIZE][/B]

Talk about what you want, but don't spam.

You all know what spam is, but I'll go through things that wont be tolerated.

No single word posts; no 'lolz', no '123', no 'hey'. If you wanna say hey, add something about your day, comment on somebody else's, contribute to the community. Don't post 'bump' for the sake of it.

'Sup Lod' wont be tolerated. This isn't the new lod, the lod is dead.

Don't double post, if my mistake, delete one. Don't bump the thread back up to the top by double posting.

If you're lucky enough to grab the first post after this thread is posted, don't just post 'first post' or 'first page' or I'll kill you.

This is a temporary version of the thread, it'll be around for a few days, maybe a week. Then we'll decide what will be done, depending on how you use it.

Dave and the Chris's will have no problem banning people for petty things in this thread. I'm sure Dave will edit in with his rules about pissing him off.

They're called Poi.

Like juggling balls on chains, you swing them about and look awesome. They come from a traditional Maouri excercise, they used coconuts or something.

I've had those LED ones a day, and some home made ones for three days. I just bought some ones you can light on fire.

I don't think a new name justifies death.

You knows this isn't going to work, the maturity of the forum is lower than ever and the members with a bit of experience have already reached the "Its s[SIZE="2"]h[/SIZE]it, do I seriously care anymore?" stage. Rules are worthless.

Anyway, I'll swing, just wanted to make my point, after all, y'all though the "lod" was a bad idea.



I just ran out of parcel tape which is a big upset. Need to package a couple of things (midiverb, midi controller, power amp) for tommorow/today.

Nice to see my hard earned money at work....haha just kidding, guys i deffinitely recommend abu abu to deal with on mx if you ever need to buy anything from him. Top notch, i bought a couple things off him and he gave me a good deal and shipped prompt :thumb:

the worst I had to do on my english was a comperative essay on the role of ambition and how it leads to the undoing of certain characters in Henry IV part 1 and There eyes were watching God.

then again, I'm not in english lit

might take writers craft at some point though

I really hope this can last. A community thread is a great idea, but it always seems to get out of control.

I was meant to cover Alfie, Blow Up and Goldfinger in a film exam ( I went and watched one), the question was so vague I just put the genral jist of what they wanted down and finished it with "...which could also be seen in Alfie."

Actually my finals were pretty spot on what we did. But that's highschool and I think my teachers made them themselves
