Amp brand name pronounciation thread
 

Alright people, I hear too many people going around playing brands they can't even pronounce, so I decided to make a thread where people write phonetically how the brand name is pronounced....

brands such as

hartke
behringer
ampeg
ibanez
aguilar
Gallien-Krueger
rickenbacker
and any others u can think of

Am - peg :confused: How else is that pronounced?

well people get that confused (i do too...)

yea cause the name apeg originated when the owner created a amplifier that had something to do with the peg of a upright bass lol....

And I used to say bay-ringer but now I say more like bear-n-jer

I've always pronounced it "Cue-bih-kee".
