W-oah's in Hardcore
More please,
Have we learned nothing from Bad Religion? |
And afi
|
The Offspring *shotgun*
|
w-oah's automatically make a song awesome. scientific research should be done to prove this fact.
|
we never like to sing whoa's. we love whoa's. we're against whoa's. we hate whoa's. we prefer ahhhhh's and na na na na-na na's. of course yeah, yeah, yeah's are alright. between AFI and The Offspring i don't think we need anyone else to sing anymore whoa's. we hate whoa's. we're against whoa's. we hate whoa's. awwww.
|

Woah's in Death imitates art. |
Strike Anywhere :)
|
Bad Religion is all the woahs I need.
|
7 Seconds is the greatest w-oah's band of all time.
|
The Misfits had some good W-oah's.
|
Bro-hymn is pretty much all w-oahs.
|
There's w-oahs during the chorus of swing life away. Or is that "ahs"?
|
Bro-hymn is pretty much all w-oahs.
I haven't listened to Pennywise in ages...:amaze: :thumb: -Gav |
The whoas in that Procedure song remind me of "Sinister Rouge"
|
Gun for hire inspired this thread.
|
Bad Religion are the masters of woahs. It acts like a 4th music instrument, its just so nice.
|
I think the Misfits had the best W-oah's.
|
7 Seconds is the greatest w-oah's band of all time.
And they only get better live |

GOD CALLED IN SICK TODAY |

Total Immortal and Fall children. I love that EP with a passion. |
Strike Anywhere :)
This man speaks the truth. |
AFI have the best woahs by far.
I thought the ones in the original Second Heartbeat by Avenged Sevenfold were cool too. (the one from that sampler or something, not the Waking The Fallen one) |
Suicide Machines have some pretty good w-oahs.
|
Son of Sam have some good W-oah's...I think...I haven't listened to them in forever. But since Davey is in the band, it probably has W-oah's in it.

They do. Second song comes to mind... THIS IS THE FINAL NIGHT! WOOOOOOOOOOOOooooOOOOOAAAAAHHHH |
Son of Sam rule, I was listening to them earlier. They really should get back together to do another album. That'd be sweet.
|

Hahaha. That was the first thing I thought of as soon as I read this thread title.
Son of Sam rule, I was listening to them earlier. They really should get back together to do another album. That'd be sweet.
Do you have their album? If so, could you send it to me over AIM? |
Hahaha. That was the first thing I thought of as soon as I read this thread title.
Heheh, me too, that song is so good. |
yeah, misfits.
|
Yeah, i'd probably agree with the Misfits.
WHOAAAAAAAA OHHHHHHHH HATEBREEDERS WHOAAAAA |
The whoas in "Night Of The Living Dead" are the best.
|
There's virtually no hardcore bands that use w-oah's, with the exception of "melodic hardcore" bands.

..........7 Seconds............. |
..........7 Seconds.............
True. |
Eh, whatever. Melodic Hardcore rules, anyways. As does 7 Seconds. As does Bad Religion.
/done |
not hardcore, but Roger Miret and the Disasters - Its Alright, has the sweetest woahs in the verses
|
What about Youth Of Today and them filling out choruses with 'AWRAAAWWWWRRGGGGHGHHHH".
And something that made me chuckle, is that in the City Of Caterpillar CD jacket, for the lyrics in "When Was the Last Time We Painted Blood On The Walls", they printed the part where he goes "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH", just like that. |
The Nerve Agents singer easily has the best random sort of dying sounds.
|
'Woah's make or break a song for me! AFI... Everyone should own All Hallows EP. Even Elton John. One of my band's songs that's going to be on our second mini-album (Self-Destruct!) has a lot of woahs... I'll try and get that recorded for y'all! ^^
