Berserker! 10-21-2005 12:43 PM

And afi

Neoteric 10-21-2005 01:03 PM

The Offspring *shotgun*

BuddyBigsby 10-21-2005 01:13 PM

w-oah's automatically make a song awesome. scientific research should be done to prove this fact.

NewKindofArmy03 10-21-2005 01:20 PM

we never like to sing whoa's. we love whoa's. we're against whoa's. we hate whoa's. we prefer ahhhhh's and na na na na-na na's. of course yeah, yeah, yeah's are alright. between AFI and The Offspring i don't think we need anyone else to sing anymore whoa's. we hate whoa's. we're against whoa's. we hate whoa's. awwww.

k1ckthecat 10-21-2005 02:41 PM

Woah's in Death imitates art.

XemoXmoshXpitX 10-21-2005 03:39 PM

Strike Anywhere :)

victimofreality 10-21-2005 03:42 PM

Bad Religion is all the woahs I need.

StruckEverywhere 10-21-2005 04:16 PM

7 Seconds is the greatest w-oah's band of all time.

RetiredAt21 10-21-2005 04:29 PM

The Misfits had some good W-oah's.

Lazybassplr56 10-21-2005 05:10 PM

Bro-hymn is pretty much all w-oahs.

victimofreality 10-21-2005 06:44 PM

There's w-oahs during the chorus of swing life away. Or is that "ahs"?

bottlerocket 10-21-2005 07:31 PM

The whoas in that Procedure song remind me of "Sinister Rouge"

kingdead 10-21-2005 08:04 PM

Gun for hire inspired this thread.

groomits 10-21-2005 08:08 PM

Bad Religion are the masters of woahs. It acts like a 4th music instrument, its just so nice.

RetiredAt21 10-21-2005 08:10 PM

I think the Misfits had the best W-oah's.

mostlydeadonarrival 10-22-2005 12:45 AM
7 Seconds is the greatest w-oah's band of all time.
And they only get better live

This man speaks the truth.

Sep 10-22-2005 10:39 AM

AFI have the best woahs by far.

I thought the ones in the original Second Heartbeat by Avenged Sevenfold were cool too. (the one from that sampler or something, not the Waking The Fallen one)

Zesty Mordant 10-22-2005 10:52 AM

Suicide Machines have some pretty good w-oahs.

RetiredAt21 10-22-2005 01:19 PM

Son of Sam have some good W-oah's...I think...I haven't listened to them in forever. But since Davey is in the band, it probably has W-oah's in it.

El_Shiznit 10-22-2005 02:05 PM

They do. Second song comes to mind...

THIS IS THE FINAL NIGHT!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOooooOOOOOAAAAAHHHH

RetiredAt21 10-22-2005 03:20 PM

Son of Sam rule, I was listening to them earlier. They really should get back together to do another album. That'd be sweet.

Gnarmageddon 10-22-2005 03:22 PM

Hahaha. That was the first thing I thought of as soon as I read this thread title.

Do you have their album? If so, could you send it to me over AIM?

albert_bass 10-22-2005 03:25 PM

Heheh, me too, that song is so good.

YOURESORAD 10-22-2005 09:15 PM

yeah, misfits.

NewKindofArmy03 10-22-2005 09:27 PM

Yeah, i'd probably agree with the Misfits.

WHOAAAAAAAA OHHHHHHHH HATEBREEDERS WHOAAAAA

Crunchwrap Supreme! 10-22-2005 10:00 PM

The whoas in "Night Of The Living Dead" are the best.

TakeWarning 10-22-2005 10:15 PM

There's virtually no hardcore bands that use w-oah's, with the exception of "melodic hardcore" bands.

StruckEverywhere 10-22-2005 10:23 PM
..........7 Seconds.............
True.

Billy 10-23-2005 07:02 PM

Eh, whatever. Melodic Hardcore rules, anyways. As does 7 Seconds. As does Bad Religion.

/done

Skidmark Steve 10-23-2005 07:08 PM

not hardcore, but Roger Miret and the Disasters - Its Alright, has the sweetest woahs in the verses

Chips 10-24-2005 08:53 PM

What about Youth Of Today and them filling out choruses with 'AWRAAAWWWWRRGGGGHGHHHH".

And something that made me chuckle, is that in the City Of Caterpillar CD jacket, for the lyrics in "When Was the Last Time We Painted Blood On The Walls", they printed the part where he goes "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH", just like that.

StruckEverywhere 10-24-2005 09:13 PM

The Nerve Agents singer easily has the best random sort of dying sounds.

Your Tourniquet 10-25-2005 05:50 AM

'Woah's make or break a song for me! AFI... Everyone should own All Hallows EP. Even Elton John. One of my band's songs that's going to be on our second mini-album (Self-Destruct!) has a lot of woahs... I'll try and get that recorded for y'all! ^^
