Last.fm is a website which records your listening stats, much like Audioscrobbler and Gerpok. Last.fm allows you to create a profile and blah blah blah, and it takes down your listening stats much more detailed than the other 2.

Anyway, I decided to make a group for the Pop-Punk forum. To join up to Last.fm is pretty simple and doesn't take long.

- Visit [url=http://www.last.fm/signup.php]Last.fm[/url] and sign up
- Download the plug-in which corresponds with your preferred media player
- Login on the website

To join the Pop-Punk forum group, just visit the [url=http://www.last.fm/group/MX%20Pop-Punkers]MX Pop-Punkers group[/url] and hit the "Join this group" button on the left-hand side.

I think this would be pretty cool for the forum, to be able to see our collective listening stats and see what everyone has been listening to. If it was put in the links in the Rules thread along with the rest, and then bumped like weekly or something to display the stats, that would be good terms for discussion about the bands I think.

So sign-up and join the group, and kill some Canadian scum! :D

Check your plug-in preferences on your media player have your nickname and password in for Last.fm. If you used Audioscrobbler, it will use those login details instead.

I never listen to music on my computer, so it wouldn't do much good for me to join.

This is tight I'm definetly going to do it.

I joined, I'm not a fully fledged pop-punker, but i'm visiting here more and more. SO i thought i'd join for the hell of it.

They don't have Musicmatch Jukebox on here.

I have had this for a while but never really used it. I got a new media player but they don't have a plug in for it.

I have recently listened to Minutemen, Beethoven, Frank Zappa, Minor Threat and Sun Ra. I think my music could sort of kill the pop punkness.

I can't figure out itunes like I can't add music onto there that I have in files. Can anyone help me?

Also if I Consolidate my Library is that going to put all of my music on my computer into itunes?

I just play the song right from the file (double-click). My iTunes is set to play all audio files though so if yours isn't that won't work.

Ya that won't work but I could do that, its just I don't really want to change my default audio player. I guess I will.

I actually enjoy iTunes as an audio player. That may be because I've only ever used WinAmp and WMP though.
