Best Music

for everyone who listens to all kinds of music, what is the best of it all and what is the worst of it all?

DemBonez 07-15-2005 11:01 AM

This question is just vague enough to work

Tomahawk 07-15-2005 11:20 AM

The best is "Bette Davis Eyes" by Kim Carnes. The worst is pretty obvious.

Kaden 07-15-2005 11:31 AM

The worst is In The Closet by R. Kelly.

Tomahawk 07-15-2005 12:09 PM

You've got your list upside down.

Iai 07-15-2005 04:08 PM

lmao @ whoever stickied this.

Iai 07-15-2005 04:08 PM

It deserves an announcement!

Zappa 07-15-2005 05:22 PM

But I can't make those.

I've seen all 5

In a row

Iai 07-15-2005 06:15 PM

IAJP is silly.

You could be queueing for the new Harry Potter book instead of wasting your time here!

IAJP 07-15-2005 06:19 PM

Even better, I COULD BE LISTENING TO EXTRACTS FROM IT ON BBC!
Oh ****.

Iai 07-15-2005 06:24 PM

That's what I just did

IAJP 07-15-2005 06:27 PM

Any good?
I lost interest when Harry's godfather or whatever died, what the hell was the point?

The new one looks to be pretty crappy.

Iai 07-15-2005 06:53 PM

Meh. Extracts always sound pretty bad.

To make it "dark"

IAJP 07-16-2005 07:26 AM

What?
If it's good pop music then it goes in there.

Joss Stone is good pop music, hence her going in there.

Bartender 07-16-2005 07:26 AM

Cedric's dying had more of a "darkening" effect than Sirius' ever did. I didn't even notice he had died until a few pages later.
But I can't make those.
Why not?

IAJP 07-16-2005 07:35 AM

I actually can't wait to see the film version of the 4th book, that'd be interesting.

But on topic, I just got some good Urban cd's.

I got an obscure Bob Marley greatest hits for £2 too .

ATM 07-16-2005 08:06 AM

This is amazing.

Zappa 07-16-2005 08:37 AM

Me too.

So is there only 5, and that's it? I really dug it, but uh, I have some issues with the plot.

Iai 07-16-2005 10:04 AM

They need a part 6, coz that cop's gotta get his.

morrissey 07-16-2005 10:20 AM

I heart this thread.

Happymeal 07-16-2005 11:11 AM

I was blind, now I can see.

Robert Crumb 07-16-2005 03:01 PM

Before I started using the best and worst thread to decide my musical tastes, I was balding, depressed, had poor complexion and drank a lot. Now, I look like Elvis, early Elvis, not Vegas Elvis. My ***** has also added several inches of girth. Thanks best and worst thread!

I discovered a cure for cancer, which also works as a cologne that attracts supermodels. I discovered it the same day I found life on Mars. Thanks best and worst thread!

StevieC 07-17-2005 08:40 AM

Shouldn't the Rolling Stones be in rock? I mean, they did some blues. But I really liked their rock side better. And maybe there should be a "Classic Rock" section and a "Modern Rock" section? I dunno. We could end up with 30,000 lists.

sketchyjoe 07-17-2005 08:56 AM

People are taking this seriously?

Iai 07-17-2005 09:26 AM

You aren't?

Edit: I think I've got it. "I don't spunk?"
