Southern Rock
 

Hey does anyone know of any cool Southern Rock bands? I love the Kings of Leon and Lynyrd Skynryd.

Theres a band called Drive by Truckers that arent bad :lol:
Like Kings of leon except heavier

Allman Brothers.

Yeah, The Allman Brothers Band is another great southern rock band. But they also play other music too.

i love skynyrd, allman brothers band is better though, has anyone heard that blues cd? its so great

I was listenin to the Allman Bros on a plane, but they werent my bag of tea(someone told me thats not the saying but i dont care)

Some of the BLS songs sound pretty southern. And yeah, Allman brothers are your best bet though.

Find an album called Eat A Peach by them, it'll change your mind.

My Dad,when he was in high school,was in a band with the singer from the drive by truckers.

I'm a big fan of The Allman Brothers and Lynyrd, Skynryd but that's about all for soooooooooooooooooooooooooooouthern raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawk.

all southern rock is is a bunch of hicks prasing the confederate flag and hating black people. it all sucks.

im all about the southern rock, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, Marshall Tucker Band, Zakk Wylde's Pride and Glory, Blackfoot, Outlaws, and the CDB

The Band had some crazy Canucks in it.

I love Southern Rock though, it's my favorite type of music.

Most racist hicks listen to heavier stuff than Lynyrd Skynyrd, and they weren't racist anyways.

Gov't Mule has been on of my favorite southern rock bands since I heard "Peace Pipe."

My Morning Jacket is pretty southern rock.

Just because they are Canadian doesn't mean they can't have a southern rock sound, but I don't think the Band were southern rock.

Doobie Brothers - Black Water is like a Southern Anthem, great song too.

Nickleback are Canadian but they're still hicks.

Alberta=the less religious Canadian Texas.

I love southernrock, it probably my favorite subgenre.

Anyway, Skynyrd and Allman are my favorites, but I also enjoy listening to Charlie Daniels, .38 Special, the Outlaws, and ZZtop.

Lynyrd Skynyrd are great. I love their music.

Lynyrd Skynyrd is pretty good but sweet home alabama just ruined them for me. But i still will listen to some of their stuff occasionally. Also Kings of Leon are so awesome. One of m favortie bands of today.

How can a song ruin their other songs?

I never said it ruined their other songs. Cause if you noticed I still said that they were pretty good and that i listened to their stuff occasionally.
