Sorry to hi-jack your thread guys but we felt like we needed to make an "Official" Slipknot thread and this thread is full of good information. If you have ANYTHING related to Slipknot post it here, don't make new threads. If you post something negative about Slipknot back up your statement. If you make a post that just says "Slipknot sucks" your gonna have some serious problems.

Slipknot are awesome, but i've moved away from them, i don't listen to them as much any more, for me, their latest album was a dissapointment, it was a change in their style of music which to me, makes COREY not the band, it makes corey a sellout. I only say this because all of slipknot say stuff like "corey was a real drive for us this time around".

Slipknot is my 2nd favorite band, and I listen to them all the time. Here is my list of best 20 songs of theirs.

very very true!! i listened to slipknot to vent anger and frustration. you cant do that with their new album. its still decent stuff, but nothing like their first two

I don't listen to Slipknot a whole lot, but I think their first album kicked major ***. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else saw them on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night. I've never seen them live before, but I thought it was a great performance.

o f.uck i completely forgot about MateFeedKillRepeat. and yes DOnothing/Bitchslape f.ucking owns. so does 'SlipKnot'. -the song. :thumb:

I like Mate Feed Kill Repeat, but I think 'Slipknot' the song is terrible. The rest of the album rocks though :thumb:

It was a sweet performance, but Jimmy was acting like a major dousch, but that's just Jimmy I guess.
The band could really do without the crazy guy who hits things with a bat occasionally, he doesn't add anything to the band.

Just because they finally know what melody is, is no reason to bash them.

Meh, I used to like Slipknot and I still listen to them once in awhile. But I have never gotten the fact that they call their fans "maggots" as a complement, but what ever they have alot of love for their fans but I do not see "maggot" as a way to express your love for your fans by calling them that.

Also I saw Slipknot about 2 days ago, and they put on a great stage show and it was fun to watch them. So that kind of boosted my respect for them.

Slipknot is an ok band, but all these people running around saying stupid ignorant comments such as they are the "greatest", "fastest" and "heaviest" band around annoys me, and all those people running around saying that I can believe why they hate Slipknot so much is because they have for the most part ignorant fans...

I have seen it, they were in some old slipknot thread. Someone even said that they think of Slipknot as "Heavy Black Metal". :rolleyes:
