Yeah i was wandering what kinda injuries you guys get at shows when you mosh...If you do. Also anyone dance.

MY recent injuries at the tony danza show
Busted lip
bloody nose
twisted ankle
and my finger is screwed

I pretty much just mosh so hard that I never get hurt, but everyone else does.

The most serious is I've gotten an elbow in the face, and I think i got an eye infection from a show.

And my canvas shoes got all busted up at a show, the back part completely ripped off.

Only band I moshed to was Halifax, so in that case I have never recieved any injuries.

I've never really been hurt, but I pretty much stay away from the pit at hardcore shows. I've moshed at some other shows, but nothing's happened to me beside a few bruises.

I did get smashed over the head at the last hardcore show I was at, even though I was a good distance from where the dancing was taking place. Some guy just decided to go around hitting people, and he ended up hitting me over the head knocking me down two stairs. No big deal, but not fun.

Almost got hit by some macho man doing windmills with a wooden chair in hand. It was my first show, I got scared s[SIZE="2"]h[/SIZE]itless. That's my only near-injury experience at a show.

I go ape sh!t when the breakdowns come.

I mosh, because I'm self too concious to dance. Haha... :(

the worse "injury" I got was a kick to the face at Warped Tour '04. Either that, or when my friend jabbed his thumb into my eye, pushing my contact back behiond my eye and had to go to the eye doctor to get it removed. That was back on the 22nd on last month, at a local show.

That sounded like it really sucked. I would totally freak out if that happened to me.

It wasn't so bad really. I actually thought he just knocked it out of my eye, so I kept on moshing and having a good time. Later that night I realized it hurt if I looked to the right, but I just thought he scratched it or something.

Over the next few days my eye kept hurting and got a slight infection, so I was cheking out my eye in the mirror and pulled up my eyelid to see what could be damaged. I saw a small edge of the contact sticking out from behing my eye, and immediately clled up my doctor. He just took some weird looking coated tweezers and yanked it out, and that was that.

I broke my pride.

The second time I saw The Acacia Strain, I got nailed in the shin by some douche swinging a wooden chair.

Nothin that bad really, I couldn't move my elbow for a few days after the Hoods.

Hmm just getting hit in the head and the eye nothing major.

If you see me headin' your way in the pit YOU BEST START MOVIN'!

It brings the energy moving and some find it fun. I don't go in pits but I totally support them.

some fat guy jumped on my head. It hurt, but I didnt really care.

Someone spilled beer all over the floor during a Killswitch show and all the moshers were slipping all over the place, I got a scraped knee from it. The only time I remember actually getting hurt was when I got my eyebrow pierced two days before I got elbowed in the eye, ouch.

I agree. That's why I tend to always go to shows at the front.

Broken nose, busted lip and f'ucked up tooth at an Outbreak show.

Converge and Terror show..i just got kicked in the back..and at Bane and Comeback kid..got punched in the stomach pretty hard

I elbowed myself in the jaw once.

At a local show I got punched in the face three times, but I not sure who all punched me, it was really fast, and me and my friend got knocked over all of a sudden by some big guy he punched me in the neck though it hurt bad, but I got up and the people that we had fallen on top of got intom the pit too it was pretty fun.

the worst I've gotten is bruises on my for arms. how did any of you who slam dance learn how? did you just see other people doing it and go from there?

No, I took lessons.

I took a course in community college.

But it's not that hard...hXc dancing has to be one of the ugliest forms of dancing ever...

But that's not to say that it's not fun.
