What Is Radiohead's Best Single

I've had to narrow this down from 17 to 10 so if your favourite isn't up there i'm sorry.I know I've picked all the well known ones but.....just shut up and vote.

CarnageFairy 09-28-2005 11:07 AM

Down to There There and Street Spirit. I picked There There.

Spectrum 09-28-2005 11:16 AM

I choose "Paranoid Android".

wait...

Anyway, as much as I love songs like "Just" and "Karma Police", I find that both "Street Spirit (Fade Out)" and "Pyramid Song" are eerily perfect in construction, and I'm sad that neither of them got released in the states (to my knowledge). However, I think "Pyramid Song" is a little better. It has a similar effect on me as "How to Disappear Completely", which is Radiohead's greatest achievement, as well as one of the greatest artistic achievements of recent years... while it may not be quite as good as HTDC, it is still a remarkable song, so I vote "Pyramid Song".

MILF Hunter 09-28-2005 11:16 AM

Karma Police

Senor_Whippy 09-28-2005 11:19 AM

I choose Street Spirit as it showed that Radiohead were more than just a Rock band and we're capible of doing amazing things.

The Ashtray Girl 09-28-2005 11:28 AM

Street Spirit for sure. I adore the video for it as well.

Clunge 09-28-2005 12:15 PM

There There is amazing, I love 2+2=5 as well, infact, I just love all the Radiohead singles :D

MC187 09-28-2005 12:18 PM

Tough choice between Karma Police, Just and High & Dry...I chose H&D.

The_Passenger 09-28-2005 01:05 PM

My favourite is probably Karma Police, even if that is a bit cliche. It's a brilliant song though, so I don't really care.

el doctor 09-28-2005 01:08 PM
I choose "Paranoid Android".

wait...
Seriously, where's that song on the list? :(

Narrowing it down between "Just" and "Street Spirit" is tough. Both rank up there within my favorite Radiohead songs, but for opposite reasons.

mr_jackalope 09-28-2005 01:45 PM

Senor Whippy, do you do anything besides make polls concerning bands you like?

Anyway, I voted Knives Out because it really epitomizes the sound of Radiohead.

A Goonie 09-28-2005 02:47 PM

Outta those i like Karma Police the best

BringHomeTheBacon 09-28-2005 03:43 PM

Would have voted Paranoid Android but I'll go for Karma police.

Zappa 09-28-2005 05:13 PM

"Paranoid Android" is one of my favorite Radiohead songs. How about I'll be bold enough to say it is my very favorite Radiohead song.

Sam 09-28-2005 05:24 PM

Creep for me. Their first album is really the only one I can stand. The Bends is ok though.

ATM 09-28-2005 05:50 PM

Paranoid Android

Happymeal 09-28-2005 06:38 PM

My favorites are High and Dry and Fake Plastic Trees.

Wanker 09-28-2005 06:42 PM

Fake Plastic Trees all the way.

RollerQueen 09-28-2005 07:50 PM

"Street Spirit" because "Paranoid Android" wasn't an option.

YDload 09-28-2005 08:48 PM

I didn't know Radiohead had so many singles. The only ones I've heard on the radio were "Creep" and "There There," plus I have seen videos for "Karma Police" and "Knives Out" on VH1 or somesuch.

Anyway I voted for "Street Spirit" because it's probably Radiohead's best song, so if it's a single then yeah.

Strum 09-29-2005 12:23 AM

Paranoid Android closely followed by No Surpises

OrbDragon 09-29-2005 05:07 AM

High And Dry

Although Radioheads more experimental work is more of my liking, this is the best song they've written. This is what a good pop song should be.

Grunge_Man 09-29-2005 07:27 AM

Just

Hence to the phrase "to my knowledge". I hadn't seen/heard anything about it, so I didn't know it existed as a single here.

No not at all...oh wait I do at take the piss out of Fallout Boy and Simple Plan fans.

JonM 09-29-2005 10:19 AM

I'm listening to the best Radiohead single, and it's not on the poll, so I voted for "Pyramid Song."

superpeer 09-29-2005 10:29 AM

It's between Creep, Karma Police and No surprises.

Out of those anyway, otherwise include Paranoid Android.

Aeaon 09-29-2005 01:56 PM

Street Spirit.

Myxomatosis129 09-29-2005 03:05 PM

Where is Paranoid Android? In my opinion their best song. Oh by the way Pyramid Song did have a video
