jpshortstuff 06-24-2006 10:50 AM

i am also doing good. schools finished so im not really doin' much atm, but when i get some money i'll probably go to Bristol and cruise round the music shops in search of Guitars/Boss effects units.

PAJJ 06-24-2006 10:51 AM

cool, you looking at anyone in particular?

jpshortstuff 06-24-2006 10:53 AM

looking at the Boss Gt-8 pedal wise, and as for guitar im thinking of a 7-string, probably ibanez, altough last time i went in they didnt have any of the ones i was looking for.

FVG27 06-24-2006 10:59 AM

And I got some purple and pink hair dye for tonight :)

Patrick O))) 06-24-2006 11:14 AM

Haha, on my way in I thought, 'how will I be able to talk to Zowe if I screw up ... ?'

What're you doing tonight?

GurS 06-24-2006 11:19 AM
My friend Stampy, I've known for ages. Used to fancy her.

She was very drunk. Leaned in to kiss me, I stopped it. She has had a bf for about a year and a half, but she's going through a rough patch with him, they are probably going to break up.

It slayed me to turn her down, as I love her so much. What an utter squirrel.
Well, if her and her bf DO break up, not only can you be the supportive shoulder, but she may also well remember that you DIDN'T take advantage when in a position to do so, and thus re-iterating that you're a decent, honourable bloke :)

JF: nice one on the grade 8 - you thinking a merit or even, dare I say it, a distinction can be winging its way to you?

NP: The Kinks - Harry Rag. Great song this. Great, great song.

I'm loving this album :D

Oh you :p
/blushes!

A friend of the family is 60 tonight so we're having a 60's/70's style fancy dress party for him.
I'm hippying out

Peace man!

GurS 06-24-2006 11:24 AM

Donning a sheep-skin jacket? Sheep-skin jackets really aid the hippy look. Hot, sweaty buggers to wear, though

Mexican Bandito 06-24-2006 11:26 AM

I'm wearing a skirt - that's right me, in a skirt  black ruffly shirt and some beads then I'm going to paint on some patterns on my arms/face and shizz

I'll get a photo before I leave :)

FVG27 06-24-2006 12:02 PM

I'm going to an NSPCC do tonight, they asked me to play guitar and sing :D

jpshortstuff 06-24-2006 12:04 PM

ChodaBoy 06-24-2006 12:04 PM

FVG27 06-24-2006 12:05 PM
why not throw in some Beat Boxing while your there?
ChodaBoy 06-24-2006 12:08 PM
ChodaBoy: No, not do an NSPCC, an NSPCC do, like a party.
cake created by 50 children in slave labour in a 40 degree kitchen where only the 5 best cake makers survive and go onto the buffet creating chamber?

jpshortstuff 06-24-2006 12:11 PM

2muchket! 06-24-2006 12:13 PM

Thems kids need work, so who are we to stop them ???

ChodaBoy 06-24-2006 12:13 PM

jpshortstuff 06-24-2006 12:17 PM

all you can eat buffets are great, especially the desert ones. i can never have to much chocolate mousse.

GurS 06-24-2006 12:20 PM

Except, there's a really nasty chinese one near where I live

But a much nicer one's opened up right round the corner, and it's a LEETLE bit more expensive, but the food quality's a lot greater. So the nasty, cheaper one will probably shut down soon.

ALSO: My local guitar shop decided to go 'online' and closed it's real shop. Meaning no 15-minute walk to a guitar shop to get a spare pick/set of strings should I need. Bastards :(

All of them.

but on a more practical note Brave New World, Dance of Death, Powerslave, Number of the Beast, Iron Maiden

or maybe a live album like Rock in Rio, and a live after death

Untitled 06-24-2006 01:48 PM

Somebody give me an idea.

I have to make a book into a piece of art work.

I have 3 months to do it.

trysthedrummer 06-24-2006 01:58 PM

Beat the hell out of it, throw different colours of paint on it and then put it in a special frame, or in a persex case. Job done.

I mostly agree with Paul, except I'd go Live at Donny for a live album, personally. Bring Your Daughter never sounded better

A) find a political or religious image, and re-draw/paint it on the front cover

B) tippex all the pages

C) make up some pretentious explanation about how X-brand of politics/religion erase understanding and knowledge from a world sorely in need of it

D) sell to art gallery

E) give me royalties :)
