Britton 10-31-2005 01:13 PM

God I hope not it would be a shame.

So did any of you read my last thread?

No happy I don't what is it?

metalmilitia101 10-31-2005 01:16 PM

hey chu, brit, happy did you get it?

Jev 10-31-2005 01:16 PM
No happy I don't what is it?
It's something Metallica record when they're in the studio, extremely rare cds that have metallica in general just pissing about and doing silly covers. I was lucky enough to find some songs from one on a P2P but i don't know if they're still on my comp.

Father_Jack 10-31-2005 01:17 PM

Who's doing the vox on this SMOTW cover?

Britton 10-31-2005 01:18 PM

Oh is that the thing they did that's like 2 hours of them screwing around?

where the critics said that it was the worst song ever?

they did it for napster

I'd imagine james does the vocals

Father_Jack 10-31-2005 01:19 PM

Its definately not James, I'm not even convinced its metallica

Jev 10-31-2005 01:19 PM

Jev 10-31-2005 01:20 PM
Hey can we ait up a hour or so

Why? 1000th page?

metalmilitia101 10-31-2005 01:21 PM
Its definately not James, I'm not even convinced its metallica
sounds exactly like james doing the vox, when he isn't in a heavy vibrato it's pretty apparent. and their style of guitar is the same, the only thing that i'm not sure about are the drums, but if you think about battery and stuff it could be lars.

Chu 10-31-2005 01:21 PM
hey chu, brit, happy did you get it?
Cheers mate :thumb:

Anything I could interest you with?
Possibly a Live take of Burton doing Anesthesia, and going straight into For Whom The Bell Tolls (With distortion the whole time  ), they play FWTBT about 1.5x faster then CD version I estimate too..

Edit: I have 1199 pages, I dunno how many posts I display per page etc. though...

Jev 10-31-2005 01:23 PM

lol Joe's gonna miss the 1000th page if we keep posting like this. But it's not truely the 1000th page.

metalmilitia101 10-31-2005 01:23 PM

sure send it over chu

Chu 10-31-2005 01:25 PM

Alright, I'll upload it and send away :)

lol, I set it to 40 posts per page, there's like 749 pages now :D

Edit: This really doesn't sound very much like Metallica tbh :x
Somewhere around the 2:00 mark, the singer gets a high(ish) note, either way it is (To me) higher then Hetfield could get...
