Haha, I just noticed the Smashing Pumpkins are on my list....the sad thing is that was 1 CD, played through once :-\ Or maybe that just means I listen to lots of different music *shrug* I feel cool I guess.
I always do that, especially when I buy 2 cds at a time. I always end up playing the hell out of one, and giving the other just a once-through. I've been going back in my cd library, and listening to the "once-throughs" while driving. Right now, I have Relationship in Command by At the Drive-in in my cd player. It's been growing on me. I don't like it as much as Vaya, but it's still not a bad listen.

Here's the one I just made

http://www.last.fm/user/HuberTunes/

Nothing on it yet. I guess it updates itself after awhile?

Dr. Jake Destructo 08-28-2005 03:36 PM

Have you downloaded a plug-in, yet?

Sometimes it does right away, and others it doesn't. Depends on if it's going slow or not I guess.

Edit: You may not have downloaded the plug-in or maybe haven't turned it on yet as well.
Possibly the best scrobbler ever.

Huber 08-28-2005 03:42 PM

I'm pretty sure I turned it on, a window came up asking my username/pw and I filled it out and now I open that window open and on the bottom is a list of what I've been listening to.

Illmatic 08-28-2005 03:47 PM

Well, if it's working correctly, than songs won't show up on the "recently played" list until around halfway through the song.
 I can assure you I wasn't listening to the boxer.
Wahah!

I don't mind Jack Johnson. I have a couple of his albums, but I've not listened to them enough. He's a very cool guitar player, with an extremely infectious style. My older cousin is really into them, so that's basically how I ended up even giving his music a listen.

Arucard 08-28-2005 04:10 PM

The 30,000 cd's guy is getting flamed to hell in the pit, and it is so funny.

Lord Abortion 08-28-2005 04:11 PM

what, with his engagement thread?

I gave up on that one after a page or two of congratulation

I take it it went away from that?

Illmatic 08-28-2005 04:13 PM
 I can assure you I wasn't listening to the boxer.
There's an album made about the boxer (Miles Davis' A Tribute to Jack Johnson) that is quite good.

The musician is just about one of the most infuriatingly boring, insipid, and wimpy music artists I've ever heard.

American Questions:

Some things I wonder, just the impression tv gives me of Americans, here are some questions, I don't know how many I will make up.

Do you really all have your own locker in High School?

Are they like on Tv?

Do you really have those goofy proms with the dates and the blue tuxedos?

Do you really drink Punch?

What does the S stand for in $?

Are there really people who wear Football(?)/Sports Jackets from their club ALL THE TIME?

Do they beat up science nerds?

When you get punished, do you have to write things on the black board after school?

Do you like hamburgers?

Are you overweight, fatty?

I'll think of more later...

Permanent Solution 08-28-2005 04:27 PM

Hey Jelle....spam attack....fyi :)

Lord Abortion 08-28-2005 04:28 PM

could you ban that bloke Jelle?

EDIT: bah, beaten, balls to you Vince :p

superpeer 08-28-2005 04:30 PM

Yeah, I'll take care of it. Americans can fill in my poll mean while.

Huber 08-28-2005 04:32 PM

Do you really all have your own locker in High School?

No, in fact I think it's againt the law.

Are they like on Tv?

See above

Do you really have those goofy proms with the dates and the blue tuxedos?

I wouldn't know

Do you really drink Punch?

I don't.

What does the S stand for in $?

I think states. The original idea I think for it was a U over an S, and that's why some have two lines in it. I think that story is fake though, someone told me. Not sure.

Are there really people who wear Football(?)/Sports Jackets from their club ALL THE TIME?

I've seen a few, but it's rare.

Do they beat up science nerds?

No one beats up anything. They're big fat phonies.

When you get punished, do you have to write things on the black board after school?

No.

Do you like hamburgers?

Meh, they're okay.

Are you overweight, fatty?

Fat and happy.

I hope I helped your American curiosity.

Permanent Solution 08-28-2005 04:34 PM

Do you really all have your own locker in High School? Yes, I had my own locker every year. I only used it Freshman year.

Are they like on Tv? I don't watch TV, what do you mean?

Do you really have those goofy proms with the dates and the blue tuxedos? I went to Senior Prom, it wa goofy and extravagant.

Do you really drink Punch? At Prom? I don't think there was any refreshments there. At After Prom, yes.

What does the S stand for in $? Yes.

Are there really people who wear Football(?)/Sports Jackets from their club ALL THE TIME? Yes. Letter jackets were very trendy at my school.

Do they beat up science nerds? Fighting is more for the "badasses" science nerds are too obscure to even find to beat them up.

When you get punished, do you have to write things on the black board after school? No.

Do you like hamburgers? Yes, very much so.

Are you overweight, fatty? I want to say yes...but I think I'm underweight actually /image complex

Arrakakaka 08-28-2005 04:35 PM

I couldn't find any Candlemass's old material at that CD shop :(

It was a great shop too. Lots of used and new stuff, mostly good. I mean, they had the biggest extreme metal selection that I've saw. I didn't find Epicus Doomicus Metallicus, but I got a used copy of My Dying Bride's The Angel and the Dark River with a bonus disk anyway. Of course, when I browsed through the metal section, they had to put the stuff with upside-down crosses, pentagrams, boobies, and other things to freak out a parent :( My dad had to ask, "As long as the CD isn't some degenerate manical devil worshiping and killing music."

He doesn't know half the shit I listen to. I want to go there with a friend and buy a ton of cheap death metal CD's.

Yes.

No, at least not here. They're normal sized not like one on top, one on bottom.

We have proms, with dates, some jackasses do wear blue tuxedos because they think it's funny.

I hate punch, but I've never seen it served at a party.

I have no idea.

Some football players wear their football jackets, yes, but not anymore than a normal person would wear a normal jacket.

No, sadly fights rarely occur at school, we need more violence. Any actual fights occur between the guys who think they are the biggest badasses on the face of the planet, and generally (though I feel bad saying it) the financially challenged.

No.

I love hamburgers.

America is full of chubby people, unfortunately.
