Thank you!
The apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic mindset is a big inspiration for me and yeah, it throws you back into reality. It might not happen with 'zombie' like beings. But with all the wars, violence and intolerance I think a apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic situation is likely to happen sometime.
yes, i agree 100%. i can be a usual diseas/virus too... just like in "12 Monkeys" (don't tell me you haven't seen this film ) ^^ i like such films, who aren't sci-fiction, but stay at the bottom of reality... just like Battlestar Galactica did though its a sci-fiction film/serie it stilll seems like it could be reality someday. |
thanks for uploading it;
i use emule, so i will download it myself, but if there are some more ppl and you are uploading it for them, i will be glad if you add me to the list though. maybe you'll be faster than emule :) repcak@gmx.at

Yes please. :) I repped you my email adress.
K cool, the quality is kind of low, but it's definitely tolerable. Some of the songs are really haunting.
In The House - In A Heartbeat is a pretty fantastic song. It's the song that slowly builds up during the climax of the movie when all hell breaks loose in the house.
Yeah, that's the 28 Theme song, it's used in both movies. |
I actually haven't seen 12 Monkeys. :(
There are so many movies I still need to check out, it's not funny anymore. Currently atleast 8 movies that I want to buy/watch. It's always a decision between DVDs and CDs. :p np: Earthless - Lost In The Cloud Sun
K cool, the quality is kind of low, but it's definitely tolerable. Some of the songs are really haunting.
Alrighty. Looking forward to it. |
Get 12 Monkeys! you will love it! brad pitt is playing such a great sick person (mentally ill) and bruce willis is playing good enough for this film!
its post-apocyplse in the kind: what happens if the whole world got killed by a deadly virus and what can we do? time-machine! - but which one... this film is genius! |

I really enjoy Brad Pitt's acting, he's so good in Fightclub. As far as I can tell we have quite a similair taste/interest in movies. Nice! What do you think about The Island? It's about people being cloned so that rich people can profit from their copies, for organ transplants and stuff. Starring Ewan McGregor and Scarlet Johanson (sweet). The movie isn't great, but the thought behind it is disturbing. Same thing goes for Minority Report, the film is ok, but the idea behind it is mind boggling. |
The Island was pretty cool, I liked the concept a lot. I enjoyed Minority Report more than The Island.
Soundtrack is sent to both Kacper and Petey. :D |
Thank you!
Yeah, I often fin that the idea behind it is better then the movie itself. I love movies that bring some thinking material to the table so I can discuss it afterwards. |

The Pixies - Where is my mind at the end of the film is ... hm... historical moment in film history :) yes, i may be true, that we have similar tastes. The Island: I haven't seen the film, but i read some reviews about it, and i wanted to watch it, but i haven't yet. Minority Report - yes, the idea is good, but imo a little bit too sci-fiction as far as i remember; if i would be the director i would do it differently - instead of making an action film, making it a film-noir-thriller :D
Soundtrack is sent to both Kacper and Petey. :D
thanks! i will donwload it, after earthless i will listen to your upload-record, will smoke one last joint and then i go to bed :) great plan |
I watched the Golden Compass for some reason last night... it sucked.
You're both welcome. :thumb: |
yeah, my two girls watched the gold compass too and said the same: its sucked ^^
|
So the bands for Gigantour 2008 have been announced. It wasn't what I expected.
|
I think the reason why it was so bad was because none of the characters could really relate to eachother, they didn't have a common ground. It seemed like a lot of them were just thrown in really randomly. Plus, it's really risky to use children as lead actors and in this case, it didn't really pan out too well.

I agree on the overly sf themed part.
I watched the Golden Compass for some reason last night... it sucked.
My thoughts. Great cast, but the story moved so quickly that you could hardly relate to the characters. Also they definitely took effects over storyline and dialogues. The dialogues were so predictable and breathed LOTR all the time. You two should take a look in the video/game sub forum sometime! I'll have a listen to the 28DL soundtrack tomorrow. I just finished my beer and it's been midnight. A good time for me to go to bed, especially since my gf is coming tomorrow, early in the morning. Night guys and thanks for the great chat! |

I'd go for JFAC and maybe High on Fire. Overall though it sounds pretty boring. |
I'd go to see those two, but I wouldn't want to spend so much money just to leave early.
|
I'm alive!
|
Too much karaoke last night?
Too much karaoke last night?
haha It was a great night. I got down there around eight, was greeted with a tequilla shot. Played some pool, danced, had some drinks, sang some karaoke, played some Wii. The funniest part of the night was when my girlfriend's dad came and found me outside and very seriously said "Christian, come here I need to talk to you." I was like, oh **** what did I do. He sits me down, and he was like, "I want to hear a guitar solo." and hands me a guitar. So I started shreddin' on that mother****er. |
Haha, that's great. It should be illegal to do scary stuff like that.
|
hehe - the part with the guitar has to be awesome :D

Besides Kyle and Josh, who else has Hellgate: London?
|
I'm hopefully getting it real soon, I need it!

My mate and I finished tag-teaming the single player campaign (on hard) for Call of Duty 4. :D
The ending is great; your heart pumps and you go through a bout of helplessness, anger and finally, sweet revenge. I honestly haven't played an FPS as good as CoD4, with such a well-written and well-acted storyline, for a very long time. We also watched a few episodes of MPFC and played some Crackdown. :p Man, that is such a fun game once you've maxed out all the skills. Really fun way to bring in the New Year. |
I haven't beaten CoD4 but the multiplayer is awesome.
Crackdown rules too  |
Yeah, I didn't want to spoil the ending. Hehe.
Best thing about Crackdown is jumping from skyscraper to skyscraper on the Shai-Gen island. Dodging homing rockets and kicking people off buildings never gets old. |
the lighting in CoD4 bothers me, everything is really dark... and for some reason it doesnt seem like a very wide field of vision either.
|
Throwing cars is great fun too.
|
I've been playing Zelda Twilight Princess and Super Mario Galaxy a lot lately. :p
