what happend to you being smart and supporting obama

wtf man
Obama is more preferable, and I'll vote for him, but thats just because I don't want McCain in office. I just don't think Obama will do half the stuff he's proposing.

Dimmu Burger 10-28-2008 05:40 PM
Just like all the people voting Democrat because that's the young person thing to do.
I'll back you up on that too actually. I agree with Obama's stance on the issues, but a lot of young people like him cause it's cool to like him and don't even know what they're talking about. I just don't like uneducated voting.

Angmar 10-28-2008 05:40 PM

Young people just tend to agree more with liberal standpoints as a whole, don't see how that's a trend.
I just don't think Obama will do half the stuff he's proposing.
Who does though? No candidate ever does, so its hard to pick a candidate unless it's for his second term, then you know what he actually will do. Though America still gave Bush a second term. Blah!

hismajestythepope 10-28-2008 05:42 PM

we needed bush as our president this past decade dude. we were attacked. on american soil. bush being a militant mother****er pwned the noobs who hit us and took out one of the biggest supporters of al-qaeda.

his policies outside of the war are pretty lol though.
Young people just tend to agree more with liberal standpoints as a whole, don't see how that's a trend.
most young people tend to agree more with liberal standpoints because of celebrity endorsements on mtv.

Angmar 10-28-2008 05:43 PM

I don't know anyone like that but ok.

masada 10-28-2008 05:44 PM

there are a lot of kids at my school that regurgitate obama rhetoric but dont seem to do anything but that

same for the other side too

pate 10-28-2008 05:45 PM

How many young people know the issues other than "lol Bush" and "change"

I love the people who are all "Obama is bi-partisan. He brings people together. You just have to change all of your viewpoints and come to his."

Angmar 10-28-2008 05:45 PM

Well that's just kinda how it is in general I guess, I've looked into both candidates and watched all the debates and based off their standpoints I'm going with Obama.

hismajestythepope 10-28-2008 05:46 PM

john mccain is an old rich white man

barack obama was poor when he was younger and hes handsome and black and has such a nice smile

pate 10-28-2008 05:46 PM

he's so handsome

And he's a great speaker!

*votes now*

AA-12 10-28-2008 05:46 PM

I've liked Obama since I found out about him. The hype/everything is great well deserved. At the young people are getting behind the right guy.

Angmar 10-28-2008 05:47 PM

Yes that's why everyone is voting for him mappy, plz try again.

Sarah Palin should be enough to convince someone not to vote Republican, John McCain is old, and I don't want to risk having her become president.

this is such a terrifying thought :(

pate 10-28-2008 05:47 PM

Obama's Senate campaign was a joke.

He's Barack Obama. He's got enough votes in Chicago that he doesn't give a rats *** about anyone downsate.

I'm Barack Obama and I approve this message

AA-12 10-28-2008 05:48 PM

yeah that matters a lot now

hismajestythepope 10-28-2008 05:48 PM

it doesnt matter that obama only pays attention to specific demographics and completely ignores and even belittles others?

let us not forget the comment about "pennsylvanians holding onto their guns and land"
Yes that's why everyone is voting for him mappy.
you arent 90% of the american youth steve.

pate 10-28-2008 05:48 PM

You said you liked him since you found out about him. That was how I found out about him.

Angmar 10-28-2008 05:48 PM

Obviously he won't be a good president because of that!

AA-12 10-28-2008 05:49 PM
You said you liked him since you found out about him. That was how I found out about him.
pate 10-28-2008 05:49 PM

hismajestythepope 10-28-2008 05:51 PM

pate 10-28-2008 05:52 PM

We're not being defensive at all.

My statement was about first impressions. Nothing more.

AA-12 10-28-2008 05:53 PM

mine was too

pate 10-28-2008 05:53 PM

Okay. I was describing mine. I know you didn't know about him at that time.

hismajestythepope 10-28-2008 05:53 PM

mappy is a libertarian fyi

lol defensive? im saying i think barrack obama is a sleezebag only who has the best interests of a select group in mind.

also, lol republican?
lol k
um steve, please stop refuting common sense. if his track record as a governor was like that, why would it be any different as president?

Angmar 10-28-2008 05:54 PM

I will when the time calls to do so. :)

masada 10-28-2008 05:55 PM

can we argue in circles more

hismajestythepope 10-28-2008 05:56 PM

no. im saying, why the hell do you act like im stupid for predicting that hell follow the pattern hes been following?

AA-12 10-28-2008 05:58 PM

barack is trying to fix the entire nation while mccain is a joke of a man who will probably ruin us completely

Dimmu Burger 10-28-2008 05:59 PM
barack is trying to fix the entire nation while mccain is a joke of a man who will probably ruin us completely
hismajestythepope 10-28-2008 06:00 PM

except mccain's planning on reforming the government and fixing spending issues where obama's just planning on increasing taxes and spending.

Angmar 10-28-2008 06:00 PM
no. im saying, why the hell do you act like im stupid for predicting that hell follow the pattern hes been following?
Tell me how his plan is going to cater to certain Americans to a point where it's bad and I'll take the point more serious.

lol that comic is genius.

hismajestythepope 10-28-2008 06:01 PM

make a point to show me that he hasnt been very selective with who "needs" help

AA-12 10-28-2008 06:02 PM
except mccain's planning on reforming the government and fixing spending issues where obama's just planning on increasing taxes and spending.
