JACKROXYOU 10-30-2005 05:52 PM

what in the world is oing on in this thread? I go to the pit and this place goes nuts!

Britton 10-30-2005 06:49 PM

Yep it's pretty sad...

I'm learning harvester of sorrow

clairvoyant 10-30-2005 08:11 PM

I never learned that song.

It sounds easy though.

blue3 10-30-2005 08:18 PM

Yeah, I've never learned that one either. I'm learning One and Justice for All..

metalmilitia101 10-30-2005 08:56 PM

yeah, harvestor of sorrow is a cinch, and a really fun one to play. the solo is so easy, but its ALL about technique, dynamics, and feeling. its difficult in that aspect. and justice for all has such a cool intro, it used to be my favorite song.

Britton 10-30-2005 09:25 PM

I've givin puting titles like "favourite" to the music that I listen too.

I love the clean sorta inro thing on Harvester

Who would have thought to see you in here again?! Good ta see ya' Jack :thumb:

About to listen to Dave's song...
You need to improve your vocabulary.
Agreed. I see "awesome" at least once in each line.

Dave: you're joking right...
Yea Joe I knew you would flip. Well I thought I was going to my gals
all day but her dads over there...so I'm going tommarow.

Can some E-mail me that FTB cover?

and also what is this that I've been hearing about disturbed
covering FTB live?
Of course I would :thumb: and sure I'll get it out to you. I'll probably be able too soon... not tonight. ask chu if you don't get it before I get back on.

and yes disturbed did until the "no one but me..." live. it was pretty good

Britton 10-30-2005 10:51 PM

When did you see them?

Joe 10-30-2005 10:53 PM
When did you see them?
I didn't. I had the recording of it before we wiped out my harddrive. It might be on a cd or disc somewhere. It was pretty good. It depressed me because I heard symphony in the background and I thought they didn't do FtB on S&M because i heard they couldn't do an arrangement to it :upset:

Off to bed, goodnight metallica peoples

edit: don't hit 1,000 without me!
editedit: only 100 more to 6,000

Britton 10-30-2005 10:56 PM

Yep, I'll be here tomorrow morning bright and early for it.

Hopefully it isn't before then at least. We'll have to have the 1000 page Metallica Thread Super Exciting Extravaganzaa!

I didn't know they did it.

I doubt they'd butcher it. They are a talented band that knows what they are doing.

Britton 10-30-2005 11:13 PM

Hey can we save the talk till the morning so Joe can be on the 1000 page?

I liked when they did MOP

Huber 10-30-2005 11:17 PM

Thanks.

Okay, I'll wait for Joe now.

mr black 10-31-2005 01:30 AM

Yeah the guitars are excellent, Heafy can play MoP as fast if not faster as James does no problems, he's just not that great of a live vocalist.

Apocalyptic Raids 10-31-2005 04:09 AM
