Snowball Fight 07-29-2006 01:14 PM

Guitar.
I have real small hands..

AZNMan#2 07-29-2006 01:16 PM

How do you play it?

I have tiny hands.

Today, my and the my supervisor had a competion, who could put up the most matches, stacked in a line, using a finger and thumb. We bot got 8, which is odd, because his hands are huge.

Snowball Fight 07-29-2006 01:16 PM

Haha, get a guitar with a thinner neck like an SG copy or something - I love mine (even though it's broken).

I got my classical guitar the other day, it's so much different in the way it plays, it's so nice.

3rd, 5th and 8th fret.

Cricket Is On :)
3rd, 5th and 8th fret.
Do you start on that string then go to the next to above it?

Ben: Yeah classicals are nice. Huge fret boards and nylon strings are cool. Although I hate how you have to strectch like a mofo to get much above the 12th fret.

Pazz 07-29-2006 01:22 PM

Justin: You have beat me in posts in here if you were to get your accounts merged.

I start on the A string, then go to the D string.

This post makes me pass up Stew in here.
Justin: You have beat me in posts in here if you were to get your accounts merged.
I know. :( I thought I was gonna pass you, then I woke up and I was banned. :-\

Jess: I find it easier after hitting the 5th fret on the D string to go to the G string.

Like so:

-------------------------------------
-------------------------------------
-------------------2--4--5-----------
---------2--3--5----------------------
--3--5--------------------------------
--------------------------------------

Butler: Yeah, I'm thinking of getting an acoustic, but I want a bass first.

Pazz 07-29-2006 01:27 PM

I'm going to go and vaccuum the house, be back in a bit.

AZNMan#2 07-29-2006 01:28 PM

Later Matt.

I'm above Rick and Adam and almost Seth on this account alone.

Snowball Fight 07-29-2006 01:30 PM

It's easiest like this:

-----------------------------------
--------------------------0--1---
-------------------0--2----------
--------0--2--3-----------------
---3------------------------------
----------------------------------

Jessizzle 07-29-2006 01:30 PM

that is easier, but i get confuesed easy, and when i get into all the other scales, i know them the other way?

ATTN: I just found my Nirvana guitar book1 woo

I like it my way because I can just transpose it and I can use it for any major scale.

I'm gonna go read for real now I think.

Storm In A Teacup 07-29-2006 01:32 PM

Hey, Ben, Jess, and whoever is on.

What's going on with everyone?

Snowball Fight 07-29-2006 01:32 PM

Yeah, I just know that one better though, I know all my other scales.

Sup, Ian.

Storm In A Teacup 07-29-2006 01:35 PM

Hi, Ben.

yo, Matt. I'm going to have to vacuum my house today too.

Anyway, we almost caught one of the mice in our house today! Agh, but it got away. That's a strong mouse. It banged against the wall several times, I wonder if it got a concussion.

Jessizzle 07-29-2006 01:35 PM

Im so mad i forgot all my theory, i used to own at theory, but for almost a year now, iv just been playing my own stuff. and i forgot it all..
I cant even remember how to play sheet music. :(

Snowball Fight 07-29-2006 01:36 PM

Jared (Iscariot) was just trying to get banned

That's why he made the thread. Unless he was taking the piss, I dunno.

Storm In A Teacup 07-29-2006 01:38 PM

Yeah, I figured that was why because I have no clue who he is and I also noticed his usertitled and homepage too, so I figure he just wants to spend his time spamming on tnp.

Notes on piano > notes on anything else

Man, Great Gatsby is impossible to read. I hate school literature. Except for Night. That was a great book.
Notes on piano > notes on anything else
I've found lately that I like stuff a lot more when piano/keyboard is integrated into the music, making my love of Dream Theater grow, along with a lot of other bands too.

I actually liked both of those books and I agree that school literature is horrible. Every once in awhile a good book is pulled.
