who you callin fag, you asked me to move in with you

Spiritofmosa 10-10-2006 07:18 AM

i recently bought a tool shirt at a local store.. it has the 1000days album cover on the front.

One Groovin Clown 10-10-2006 01:46 PM

I bought a Tool shirt at their show. Now it's too small
What a waste of 40$

On a lighter note, some one said that i looked like Derek Zoolander Today.
So i guess i can impersonate 2 "celebrities" now. Steve-O and Zoolander.
Wich is odd, because i have long hair....

blue3 10-10-2006 10:24 PM

haha, Zoolander was a sweet movie. Maybe you should send that Tool shirt to Calgary.

Dr. Jake Destructo 10-10-2006 11:55 PM

What size is that Tool shirt? I'll send you like 20 bucks in the mail or something if it's my size. :-D

One Groovin Clown 10-11-2006 12:12 AM

I got the medium one and it shrunk.
I'm not a big guy, so unless you be the stick and the bones :P

Dr. Jake Destructo 10-11-2006 12:18 AM

That's probably a little big for my liking.

I'm near stick and bones, and I like my shirts small, but I'll take it anyways. If you email me your address, I'll send you 20 bucks in return for the shirt.

Wait, which shirt is it? Pix.

Futuro 10-11-2006 07:42 AM

I'll give you my old 2x for night shirts if you want >_>

/Fat American.

One Groovin Clown 10-11-2006 02:20 PM

I don't think I'll be selling my shirt anyhow.
It was my first Tool concert, and the shirt brings back memories... *sniff*

Dr. Jake Destructo 10-11-2006 02:46 PM

Okay, understandable. I still wanna know which shirt it is though.

One Groovin Clown 10-11-2006 04:08 PM

It's the 10,000 days tour shirt.
The one with the Alex Grey artwork on the front and the tour listings on the back.
It's red, if that helps :P
I'll take a picture when i get home.

misunderstood 10-12-2006 12:00 AM

So i jus stumbled across this old picture of Danny Carey and thought i'd come share with you guys here (thread is kinda slow anyway). I'd never seen it before..he looks so....young, heh.

Dr. Jake Destructo 10-12-2006 12:04 AM

Haha, that was during the first phase of the trucker hat trend. Wow.

ghettoeddo 10-12-2006 12:05 AM

i just thought that i would share that i was listening to jimmy.

and that is a loooong note he holds at the end.

One Groovin Clown 10-12-2006 10:29 AM

I've always loved jimmy.
It seems to have the best grasp on an atmosphere.
We'll every song has an atmosphere, but Jimmy seems to be the deepest.

QFT.

Dr. Jake Destructo 10-12-2006 10:37 AM

I agree, quite fucking true.

:p

Jimmy does have a great atmosphere. My favorite part is probably when Justin stomps on his distortion pedal...So heavy.

Huber 10-12-2006 08:36 PM

Puscifer.com opens tomorrow. I hope it's uber badass and if were lucky has a new song.

edit: bah it's open already

One Groovin Clown 10-12-2006 11:59 PM

Alot of the music selection on the Puscifier site is compilations that feature Maynard. APC, Deftones, and even Muhammed My Friend.

Other than that, it's all merchandise.

magicbus 10-13-2006 10:54 AM

So what exactly is Puscifier? I remember seeing them on Mr. Show.

Dr. Jake Destructo 10-13-2006 12:41 PM

Maynard's new project..It's kind of a solo deal, but an ex-member of NIN is also in on it. It's kind of an industrial/goth sound, at least from the two songs I've heard.

magicbus 10-13-2006 01:00 PM

Ok so it's an actual band? I thought it was just a name he was putting misc. songs under.

Here's that Mr. Show clip I was talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zA6Z0LGqkkA

Maynard and Adam come on at 3:35. It actually says Puscifer in there...

I'm so god damn angry with toolarmy right now. I joined like, 6 months ago. They said it could take two months too ship the patches and stickers and such. I didn't care much about that stuff and I've just been using the site and whatever like usual and figured since I'd used the site and all I had been charged. I got an e-mail last week saying that the stuff had finally shipped, 4 months late. I was like "Cool, I guess it's cool I'm finally getting the stuff". When I got the e-mail I was completely broke. Having something like 40 cents total in my checking account. Today I found out that they also charged me the money for the fan club thing and now I have over 150 dollars in overdraft fees asnd I'm totally ****ed on bills now.

I COULD ****ING KILL TOOLARMY RIGHT NOW

Sounds like you got fvcked over, they sent the stuff late and charged you a stupid amount of money for it. I dont think its healthy for fan sites to be so money orientated.

magicbus 10-15-2006 01:19 AM

So nobody cares about old Maynard videos? Too bad.

Static 10-15-2006 01:25 AM

So I was coming home from a jam today, and I flip on the radio, and it's Rosetta Stoned. I listen through, and they played the entire song on one of the most popular hard rock station (107.3 WAAF.) Has anyone else heard Rosetta on the radio?

I don't know, I was just a bit taken back.

Spiritofmosa 10-15-2006 08:13 AM

! That's extremely bizzare, what time was this at? I hear The Pot on the radio often, but that's only obvious since it is their newest single...I've heard Triad on the radio as well, but only in the background as the Dj was talking. Odd.

Static 10-16-2006 09:04 PM

Hmm, about 4:30. I hear The Pot on the radio all the time. I really don't care for that song.

Dr. Jake Destructo 10-16-2006 09:36 PM

*gasp*

You don't like The Pot!?
