NJMetalMeister 08-27-2005 08:59 PM

Gah my harddrive failed, my new harddrive, in my new computer. Thank god for warranties.

Did it happen to be a Maxtor harddrive by any chance?

I have never had a single problem with any of the Western Digital one's I have owned...

I need a new harddrive as well, since my current one is now full. I need a slave drive to keep all my media and game files on...like a 200 gig drive.

Ugh, is anyone familiar with iTunes?

Here's my thing:

I've got 2 drives, a C and D drive. All of my music is currently on my C drive and it's cluttering everything up. Is there any possible way to move all of my music to the D drive and have iTunes nice and organized?

Jom 08-27-2005 09:19 PM

Yeah. Move all your files to the D drive, and then drag-and-drop the files in the D drive onto iTunes.

MBS 08-27-2005 09:35 PM

Sweet, I got it to work. Thanks Jom. :invisirep:

I will not go to sleep tonight unless my postcount is 1400! Tommorrow, I will accomplish 1500.

Guys, is it me, or does every store only have Candlemass's new album?

That's how record stores do things. Considering the new CD is 2004-05 material, and the old stuff is late 80's-early 90's, I can see where they're coming from. Which is unfortunate for us.

Permanent Solution 08-27-2005 09:48 PM

Haha, I think I'm going to hit 15k this weekend, that's depressing :-\

CDs: Can't you special order them? Anything my store doesn't stock they'll try and order if I want it.

When I looked online for Epicus Doomicus Metallicus, Amazon.com was selling it for $50!

I could special order them.. But that would be expensive. I'll keep on checking in used CD stores for it. If I find it, I'll post it.

Don't count on it.

I don't think I've even seen a Candlemass album in the record stores near me. Then again, I haven't really looked for them.

Also, your user title rules. I just bought that album, and I'm fucking addicted to it. Nile = \m/

Edit: Unstable Mind, don't double post. Bartender bans people for it now.

Endless Obsession 08-27-2005 09:53 PM

Alright unstable mind you gotta learn to not double post thats the second time you have done that.

And with records and stuff, if you cant find it in the stores your almost certain to find them online, maybe even for cheaper than the stores.

RCA 08-27-2005 09:55 PM

Just got back from friend's house/birthday party/jam session.

My friend got a brand new cream-colored Strat for his birthday, and boy is it awesome. He let me play "For The Love Of God" on it, because the tone he set up sounds just like Vai's tone for that song. :D

You mean last week? Yeah I remember that too.

MBS 08-27-2005 10:13 PM

To some, yes. - In response to the "addictive drug" comment.

I have too many Beatle songs :upset:

211 songs and counting...

ATM 08-27-2005 10:16 PM

I have about that many Radiohead songs.

MBS 08-27-2005 10:19 PM

I always mix up Radiohead and Rage Against the Machine for some reason... :(

Lunch 08-27-2005 10:19 PM

Truly. Although, facebook is giving MX a run for its money in terms of the frequency with which I check it.

Dr. Jake Destructo 08-27-2005 10:23 PM

Cain, could you hop onto AIM for a quick second?

And what is Facebook?

ATM 08-27-2005 10:23 PM

It's like MySpace for colleges.
