Oh, and everybody, I have an announcement to make!!! Well, 2.

First, my band finally put me on their website... haha

And second, I have found my dream bass!!!! I was at Guitar Center tonight and tried out a Warwick Thumb Fretless Neck Thru... Man, my favorite bass ever. Next time I get 2,100 dollars, it's mine.

ShelBel 11-20-2004 09:33 AM

Morning from the basement, windowless digs of the St. Joseph's Medical Center I.S. Department. Currently on the speakers- Incubus.

'Scuze me for a few while I go and rip apart some reports.

Oh, and wish me luck- I just applied for a Technical Support Level II spot (the position I originally interviewed for in April of 2003 and would have gotten if the stupid administration hadn't put a freeze on hiring that very afternoon). If I get it, that means I can quit one of my two jobs (the other one, duh) and stop working every single stinkin' weekend....

Left Shoe 11-20-2004 09:44 AM

yay! less work = good

Espbassor 11-20-2004 09:49 AM

Morning MX, I was supposed to be going to new york today to see the big apple on this gorgeous (READ: Raining) day. But alas I seem to have come down with an illness and was not able to go :upset:

NavyBass 11-20-2004 09:50 AM

There she was just a walkin down the street singing, do wah ditty, ditty dum ditty do.

Espbassor 11-20-2004 09:52 AM

ShelBel 11-20-2004 11:05 AM

I don't see anybody singing... hell, I don't even see a freaking street! I'm in the windowless basement of a hospital, fercryinoutloud! :D

Saitoku 11-20-2004 11:10 AM

Good luck on your interview, Shel.

Working on weekends sucks!

one of my teachers has a classroom like this , on the walls she has posters of different land scapes from different countries and she painted the walls around them to look like windows. neat idea

Ok, I need some advice here. A couple of my buddies want to do a blink 182 song for the school talent show, and they want me to play bass because I'm energetic and would really get into and stuff. I know I'd probably have fun doing it but on the other hand, it's Hoppus, who really pisses me off. What should I do?

Left Shoe 11-20-2004 11:27 AM

make up your own bassline to it, people will probably be like "mark hoppus wrote that? omgwtfzorz!" but whatever have fun with it

That's what I was thinking, just spice up the bass to it. Think I'll do that. :)

neal_672 11-20-2004 11:34 AM

Personally i'd keep it the same largely because it might end up making the song sound strange...
