Whole thread should

So I gotta vent about something here. While I was at work my girlfriend went out to eat with her friend and her boyfriend, who used to be prettymuch my best friend. They talked about me a little bit and he said I "listen to weird music just because it's wierd." Being that lot of what i listen to is metalcore I thought I'd put it here. I'd like to add that I probably listen to the least wierd music out of anyone on this forum, or at least in R&M. Anyways that bothers me. Dude only listens to radio rock and 80's hair metal.

Exactly. The wierdest stuff I regularly listen to is Murder By Death and Radiohead. Maybe The Mars Volta or Sigur Ros or something but c'mon. Dude is a musician and trying to make it in a rock band and all and has no knowledge of the depth of the music world.

Yeah I still have a rough time with how things went down with us. He's very self centered and wouldn't help me with some rough times I went through back in the day, so I told him how I felt about it and he's never been the same since.
