Yeah, I never thought he would release something BAD, i mean, Hieroglyphics wasn't that great, they had 1 really awesome album and the rest is decent at best. But yeah, it's kinda sad.

I liked Hieroglyphics...well, Full Circle, anyways. :(

So, out of boredom last night, me and a friend went to see Doomsday. Wasn't terrible for a movie with a terribly crappy plot. Nice and violent, plenty of decapitations, dismembering, etc. I wish they had put Kate Beckinsale in instead of Kate Beckinsale-look alike chick...

It was a nice other-end-of-the-spectrum choice, considering we watched There Will Be Blood Thursday night. Jesus ****ing Christ...THAT was an intense movie.

There Will Be Blood is easily my favorite movie of the year so far.

And Full Circle is meh, I love [I]3rd Eye Vision.[/I]

I thought No Country For Old Men was better, but Day-Lewis is absolutely incredible in that movie. I don't think I've ever seen acting like that before...

I ****ing hate how No Country For Old Men ends, but that was the whole idea from the brothers....still, TWBB is a bit better in every possible way.

I love Academy DVDs though...saw 3 great movies because of it. Juno, No Country, and TWBB.

I thought TWBB was a bit draggy in parts, whereas No Country was entertaining the whole way through. The ending was kinda bad though, I agree, whereas the ending to TWBB was definately one of the best endings I've ever seen.

Agreed, the ending to TWBB was brilliant.

I didn't like Juno that much. I guess I stand alone on this one.

ill be getting TWBB when it comes out because i never got a chance to watch it in the theaters. i am a huge fan of Day-Lewis. Gangsters of New York is such an incredible movie

What's Academy DVDs?

Juno had that Little Miss Sunshine vibe. It had funny moments, but it was just an overall feel good movie with a soundtrack that was undeserving of people going completely apeshit over it. I enjoyed both.

Academy DVDs = DVDs that the Academy (the institution that votes for what movies deserve what Oscars) send out to people to help them vote. My godmother's husband is part of the Academy, so we get all those Oscar nominated DVDs when they come out in theaters. Pretty badass, really.

It's because it's a semi-indie movie. People don't actually have to go to crappy film festivals to see it. They can see it in their local theater but still feel empowered and be like "OMG THAT MOVIE WAS LIEK SOOOOO GOOOD!"
