get some handy dandy zip ties and clean them up. as seen onTV

Seriously, I'm not! I wanted the P pickups on my GSR higher, so I put in paper shims, and now it sounds kickass!

nice work with the shims, packing foam works best though. the pickups on bass go high enough though.

Mine didn't... I lowered them, and they had foam on the bottom, and it got squished, so when I tried to bring them up it didn't work. I would use packing poam, but I don't have any, and it was a spur of the moment thing

relax paper is fine. i just know that some people use foam to raise the pickups. then it can be compressed easier than paper, if you need to lower them. i hope your bass sounds better/fuller/louder now!
