Its possible that Dan and Derek just don't know the song then, or never learnt it that definitively

i think that the songs at the end are if im correct. like 97' and stuff. but thats one of my fav songs by them.

'97 may be one of the best off self-titled...or maybe nose over tail...the whole cd's damn good.

i dont listen to that nose over tail though because the goddamnit version is so much better. my friend peter, bleeder, goodbye forever, cooking wine all good songs.

Best song off the Alkaline Trio is still Goodbye Forever for me.

my friend told me that the Goodbye Forever video is what got him washing his face every day haha. and yeah, the recording quality for Nose Over Tail is better on Goddamnit, but both versions are good.

No, they were talking about re-releasing it sometime soon with remastered demos, new artwork, comments from the original members about each song, and a possible bonus DVD, but it was still the Goddamnit CD, not Remains I believe...

I listened to some of Crimson for the first time in a while today when I had my iPod on shuffle. :)

i've liked what i've heard from the new album. seems like a step up from Crimson... god, that was a terrible record.

I actually didn't mind it, but I have pretty tolerable ears.

first half of crimson had some sweet songs overall it was pretty god damn mediocre. And i like it that some people remember me. :)

Haha well I never really got to the last half of Crimson every time I listened. Always had something interrupt or wasn't paying much attention by then. And well you did win PPotM wayyy back when. :p

What is the general consensus on Agony and Irony?

Thought it was gash to start off with, now have been listening to it a few times, and it definately has its moments.
I think 'I Found Away' is really good, 'Calling All Skeletons' is quite good also, tracks 2-4 are ok, but the rest of it is still a bit rubbish.
Definately not as good as I'd hoped.

a serious lack of good matt songs, but all of dan's are ace. especially the one on the bonus disc
