Hahah, for your information, I love australians.. actually I just love Daniel Johns, but whatever.
Heh, sorry, I wasn't being serious :p |
Damn, haven't posted here in a long time.
Anyone seen this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTKZcVyu6Z4&mode=related&search= Opening with a motorbreath? :) James' voice was so much more aggressive on KEA than now. Still good, but definitely different. |
Ouch, Lars really screwed up that intro.
|
James' vocals are terrible these days. I'd say worse than Matt heafy at this point. They should look into getting another singer.
|
They should look into getting another singer.
If they do that, they might as well get another drummer and lead guitarist as well. |
His performance seems to be cyclic; he goes through bad phases and great phases. I'm sure soon enough after a rest or alike that he'll put on a great performance.
|

That's a stupid idea |
matt heafy doesnt do his good vocals any more, it pisses me off, and their new stuff sounds like old metallica
|
Whats wrong with old metallica :D
|
Nothing it's just trivium are attempting to clone them.
|
Trivium is... meh. I can't stand the vocals. So maybe i will like their newer stuff. I like some of their riffs/solos/melodies.
|
Nothing it's just trivium are attempting to clone them.
It annoys me when bands do stuff like that. |
Anyone seen this?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hwsbUUEOT9g&mode=related&search= Haha, bass sounds ****d up in the beginning. Rob said we'll get the right bass player, Oh no I'm the right bass player, ahaha. You can see he was embarassed. Ouch. |
Yeah it was posted here earlier.

I think the vocals of the full Rock AM Ring 2006 show were pretty good.
|
wow a solo!
much better than St.Anger. I think Rob is going to be a good addition to this new album |
How many sleepless nights have new parents spent trying to soothe a restless newborn? With the August 29 release of "Lullaby Renditions Of Metallica", a solution is on the way. Enter Sandman.
That's right, the music that set the standard for aggressive, concussion-inducing rock will soon be lulling infants to sleep through dreamy re-workings of their head-banging fury. Classics like "Battery" and "Master Of Puppets" feature glockenspiel, vibraphone, melotron, harps, bells and more. The music is arranged and performed by Michael Armstrong. Part of the Rockabye Baby! series from Baby Rock Records, the Metallica edition includes 11 of the band's most well-known songs. For those who grew up cranking "...And Justice for All" until their ears bled, it's a chance to share with a new generation the music of a band that's sold 29 million albums. At appropriate volume levels, of course. Due on August 29, the Metallica version is one of the first three releases in the series, along with albums of Radiohead and Coldplay renditions. Future releases will focus on music from Tool, The Cure, Nirvana, Pixies, Bjork, Pink Floyd, The Eagles, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, No Doubt, Smashing Pumpkins, and Queens Of The Stone Age. Children's music is the fastest growing musical category. The Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions series is targeting today's parents with today's tastes in a way that's gentle enough for even the youngest listener. The albums will be available both in the respective artist's bin and "Children's Music" bin at retailers. Visit www.babyrockrecords.com for additional information and sound clips. "Lullaby Renditions Of Metallica" track listing: 01. And Justice For All 02. Battery 03. Enter Sandman 04. Wherever I May Roam 05. Nothing Else Matters 06. The Unforgiven 07. One 08. (Anesthesia) Pulling Teeth 09. Welcome Home (Sanitarium) 10. Fade To Black 11. Master of Puppets
Interesting concept... |
Wow. I'd love to hear Pulling teeth.
|
Interesting concept...
I listened to the sound clips. It sounds cool, but I think they sound TOO creepy to lull a baby to sleep.:thumb: |
LoL Check it out

I thought they would be like members of the band, turns up they will only be cameos.
Still, that show looks funny. |
I don't think we can get that show in the UK :(

Metallica Inspired me to pick up the guitar!
|
Same here.
|
Blink 182 made me pick up guitar. Metuhl.
|
Hey at least you've moved on.
|
Muse made me pick up bass .
|
I started playing the drums because I knew I would suck at all the other instruments:cool:
|
I don't remember why I picked up the guitar. I was supposed to be a vocalist (which would have never worked; my voice is really fragile). But I was probably inspired by Limp Bizkit, Korn, etcetera. :( Everyone has to start somewhere.
|
RATM made me pick up guitar
|
Metallica gave me the desire to play music, but i wanted to do drums and i wouldnt nessacarily say lars made me wanna play drums but that metallica made me wanna play music if that makes any sense. Although ive picked up the guitar recently just last month which is contributed by james and kirk

Same as me, but I think I've been "inspired" more by Megadeth :p But I just play guitar :p |
Muse made me pick up bass .
Muse has awesome bass, and some awesome songs really. Megadeth inspired me to pick up guitar. However I have like 3 Metallica Books. RtL, MoP, and AFJA. |
Metallica Inspired me to pick up the guitar!
