Yea, my dad told me earlier it was confirmed that they were playing 3 shows.

BludgeonySteve 07-29-2005 05:20 PM

Yay.

Though i'm probably not going to see any of them...

robo2448 07-29-2005 05:28 PM

Just went on ticketmaster and tickets aren't on sale yet on the internet.

Glitterati 07-29-2005 06:38 PM

Leonard Cohen is so good, but he makes some of the most depressing music ever.

Dr. Killgreedy 07-29-2005 06:40 PM

yea i agree ^.

pigonthewing82 07-29-2005 06:47 PM

I just picked up two Bob Dylan live cds, both of whitch are amazing. The first is the infamous live in 1966 at the Royal Albert Hall, where the crowed wasn't accepting his new electric sound and one of them even yelled out "judas." I also got his cd Before the Flood live with the Band, whitch has become my favorite Dylan cd.

Dr. Killgreedy 07-29-2005 06:53 PM

lol i have never liked bobs singin but i will admit he is a true poet and he can play a guitar. personally knockin on heavens door, all along the watchtower, and like a rolling stone are my favs.

Definitly. My mom has almost every one of his albums and I listen to them.

I just got Lawn Boy. That little dirty hippy will be proud of me.

pigonthewing82 07-29-2005 06:58 PM

I never really liked Dylan's voice when I first started listening to him, but now I love it. I mean as bad as it may be, there is so much emotion in it.

Walrus Gumboot 07-29-2005 06:58 PM

I really have to score some tickets for the Cream show. I will have to find out when tickets go on sale

Dr. Killgreedy 07-29-2005 07:04 PM

yea i agree there is emotion in dylan's voice. his voice still annoys me no matter what but i do know how much he puts into it. he has more cojones to sing than i do.

Thanks, and yeah I will also be trying to find a way to get to Cream show. I really hope I can go I'm sure they will be awsome.

Speaking of shows since I stopped coming online reguarly I saw Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson on their tour, whitch was awsome they still got it after all this time. Willie Nelson's son played rytheme guitar for most of the show, exepct he switched to lead guitar and vocals for a cover of Texas Flood whitch was amazing. I also saw Deep Purple and Mountain on their tour whitch was also great.

GNR13 07-29-2005 07:14 PM

Dr. Killgreedy 07-29-2005 07:14 PM

ATM 07-29-2005 07:16 PM

So I have the chance to see Crosby Stills and Nash, but I have heard mixed reviews about how they sound now. One friend said that they suck now, but still, they are an amazing band.

Glitterati 07-29-2005 07:20 PM

I was about to post a flame in that horrible GNR thread, but RNR scared me away :(

Willie Nelson was in Vancouver last weekend, apparently he did a great show. What a cool guy.

Illmatic 07-29-2005 07:26 PM

Walrus Gumboot: Where do you live in MA?

ATM 07-29-2005 07:26 PM

Yeah I got really close to the stage too, I think most of the people in his band were his family members. Yeah that was a great show I really don't like much country, but I loved all of Willie's numbers.

Oh yeah I heard about the reggae album too, wow Willie is the man.

ATM 07-29-2005 07:30 PM

I'd go if I were you. Unless you've seen them before and they've sucked, I'd just go for the experience of seeing these guys.

I like the Shoreline and the NW Hills, and the East, but every time I visit my cousins in Meriden I start to get a little sick

Somehow I think Illimatic lives in Worchester
