the gimmick was ok on the first album, but they should have at least tried something new on the second. gimmick bands don't last very long.

I've had to delete a lot of them because they were spam. I keep thinking he's been hacked because that's usually the only reason a supposed "regular" goes around making worthless posts all day.

Yeah I checked out the review and it seemed pretty nice to me, way more complimentary than its rating would make it seem. I thought the Onion AV Club was harsher in its critique but gave it a B+ so what the hell? I wish I could hear the album but the connection here is so crappy that even the myspace sample keeps buffering every five seconds or so.

I might buy it today. I've pretty much had it since it leaked.

Either that or I'm going to get a CD/shirt/poster froma local band for $10.

I dunno.

I need to buy the Mars Volta album really, but I have a whole bunch of other stuff I need, and i'm trying to save as much money as possible.....

Which makes it even funnier when they bash the band for being long winded and pretentious.
