yeah well, it worked in my favour that the british police are so incompetent it took them 10 months to arrest me, so everything i did in a 14 month period counts as my 'first offence'

ah i coulda gone down for 6 months, i had a bit of a problem with some guys and ended up getting into a rather nasty fight, and also had a couple of random convictions for fraud which i'd rather not elaborate on because it would take to much time.
what are you some sort of criminal

TimJim 12-04-2009 09:00 PM

wtf why wont iTunes launch after i click the icon wtf

Meatplow 12-04-2009 09:03 PM

because you should be using foobar2000 or winamp instead

TimJim 12-04-2009 09:05 PM

can you sync an iPod with those?

Tyler 12-04-2009 09:05 PM

Did you recently update? If so, just start minimizing **** until you see the disclaimer window.

I'd use WinAmp if the iPod support was better and I'd use Foobar if it didn't suck.

Meatplow 12-04-2009 09:07 PM

ml_ipod for winamp is excellent, I tried another plugin though and it wasn't so good

TimJim 12-04-2009 09:11 PM

im gonna redownload iTunes but this time the 64bit version since im on 64 bit windows

Iluvatar 12-04-2009 09:15 PM

that could have been a problem

TimJim 12-04-2009 09:19 PM

i guess not

i have no idea whats wrong it was working fine yesterday

Tyler 12-04-2009 09:23 PM

did you restart after you updated? iTunes is one of the few programs that seems to require it.

And nah, 32/64 doesn't make a difference if you download the 32 for a 64. If you did it the other way, then it wouldn't work.

Iluvatar 12-04-2009 09:23 PM

ive got a feelin
wait, what?

I thought you had better sense then that Tyler
better sense than what?

Foobar is awful, I don't like it. The layout is terrible and I can't be bothered fussing with it. I haven't tried it in years, mind you.

WinAmp has gotten better and worse at the same time. The iPod implementation is sloppy, as is the Library function, and it hogs resources a lot more than it used to (obviously I use iTunes, which is worse, but WinAmp used to be so efficient). It's great for singular plays or playlists but sometimes I don't know what I want to hear

thanks tyler :)

rasputin 12-04-2009 09:37 PM

i used to use winamp but it's too much effort when you have an ipod

caring about what program is pretty stupid tbh, just use whatever

It's far from awful, the interface is the most simple to navigate media player i've ever come across and it takes almost zero resource.

I can understand if you want something that looks fancy, customising it is a hassle but if you are really into that you can do a lot with it. I spend less time staring at my media player then actually listening to the music, so it doesn't really bother me.

TimJim 12-04-2009 09:45 PM

foobar bothered me with how ugly it was

Meatplow 12-04-2009 09:49 PM

I was never one for superficial cosmetic appearance so idk

it's a tight little program IMO
