Menomena's latest, Friend and Foe, is actually pretty interesting. They were one of those bands that kinda had 15 minutes there and then everyone forgot about them. . . but yeah, they're pretty neat. They've certainly got strong moments.

As much as everyone talked like Mogwai's [i]Zidane[/i] was horrible by Mogwai standards, it is still a great album. Certainly not my favorite Mogwai, but considering it was the only one at Best Buy (other than the truly awful [i]Mr Beast[/i]) I got it, to support a band I like, and it's still a very good post-rock album, even though it is the bottom of Mogwai's spectrum of awesome.

Mr. Beast is far from truly awful, all the songs are pretty solid.
