I guess some the buzz it's getting is focused on how it breaks the traditional post-rock mold, and how it's a breath of fresh air for the genre. But that description is becoming somewhat cliche in itself.

I'd still recommend it though.

I'm kind of the same way, but the other genres it's been described by being combined with "post-rock" intrigues me.

i'm the same as you guys with post-rock, but the album's is pretty great imo.
