I don't see that many cardinals around. Every now and then I guess. We do have some damn good seafood though, at least in Annapolis.

jpj 04-08-2005 05:32 PM

Yea, you have lots of crab. I like crab.....mmm....

Badmoon 04-08-2005 05:43 PM
Do you mean Orioles?
Yes!

We have Cardinals and Bluejays around here. That's about as exotic as it gets.

I've seen a couple Bluejays around these parts.

.....Which relate to classic rock because....

Badmoon 04-08-2005 05:46 PM

The Beatles played "Blackbird".

Bluejays > Blackbirds

Speaking of birds, there's The Byrds.

/successfully ties conversation back to classic rock.

I bought Fifth Dimension last night. I See You, Mr. Spaceman, and that song I forget the name of that's about a 7 year old girl that got killed at Hiroshima are my favorite songs.

Badmoon 04-08-2005 05:53 PM

"5D" and "Mr. Spaceman" are may favorite tracks off of that album.

God damnit what's the name of that song! I don't want to have to walk up to my room.

lunch998 04-08-2005 06:27 PM

I still have no Byrds. I haven't been CD shopping in awhile.

ATM 04-08-2005 06:27 PM

I thought of another drug song, Rocket Man by Elton John.

MalcolmYoungRock 04-08-2005 06:42 PM

My friend told me Cinnamon Girl by Neil Young was about cocaine.

Still a cool song nonetheless.

Distant Echoes 04-08-2005 06:47 PM

I dont have any Byrds either, but keep getting recommended to them.

What are some of their better albums?

Badmoon 04-08-2005 07:00 PM

Sweetheart of the Rodeo beats them all.

lunch998 04-08-2005 07:58 PM

I just made a great 3-Disc Psychedelic box set, for no reason other than the fact that I was really bored.

ATM 04-08-2005 08:01 PM

What's on it?

I bet there are some psychedelic songs.

/logic++

lunch998 04-08-2005 08:07 PM
What's on it?
A lot. It's three discs.

Stuff from Disraeli Gears, Aoxomoxoa, Anthem of the Sun, MMT, SPLHCB, AYE, A:BaL, Mr. Fantasy, Traffic, 12 Dreams of Dr. Sardonicus, PATGOD, Saucerful of Secrets, Surrealistic Pillow, Happy Trails, QMS, and Forever Changes.

I stuck to fairly popular stuff, but it still turned out awesome.

I'm having trouble figuring that one out.

Anyone up for trading?
