i just finished my history project.woooooooo!I wrote 10 pages on how the society influenced the punk movement.It took me 9 hours.now i hate history.

Haha, I love history and all social studies stuff. I just hate school work. I'm sooooooooooo ready for it to be June 1st.

I have a 3000 word essay due in a month and I'm still doing the background reading. It sucks.

I have a scrapbook due this week all about Ireland. And I have to read like 10 articles and do alllllllll the history.

Heh, canadian history is so easy. It hasnt been around very long.

eh, ya gota hate the history. not only do i have my course work to do for it, but we have 2 teachers, so the other one keeps giving us more work to do on top! bastard.

Irish history was probably some the most interesting history in the last few centuries, alot of books protray it very badly. They usually seem to leave out when the Protestants raped nearly every woman they seen and the abuse they gave the "native irish". Oh and btw 1916 is just a cool thing to talk about in Irish history! Nothing really happened. My uncles are all very pro-IRA and think the 1916 Rising was the best piece of Irish history! Bloody Sunday was alot worse and involved more upscale stuff! And yes i know Bloody Sunday was in N. Ireland but it's still Irish soil technically!

It was communism, it just wasn't revolutionary communism, or marxism.

Scince communism calls for about 10 generations of dictators, before the dictatorship abdigates, your bound to get one a'sshole in the mix, who will tear down the entire system and turn it into a totalitarian regime.

Thats why anarchy works better, you won't have socialism unless its free :)

The bit that makes 1916 so "interesting" was the protestors (sp?) that were arrested and straved themselves! Like come on, you take over a post office and get shot at and it goes down in history as Ireland's most important event! You should seriously write about the Famine and how the English raped and made the Irish suffer to point of death! "Go To Connacht, Or To Hell" Not sure how to spell Connacht! haha! Oh and the coffin ships that brought the Irish to America! Most Irish died on them as the ships were over-ridden with disease and death
Edit : Fúck i wish i could get you the Irish History book i have! Really makes you look at the English in a whole different light, i mean the english from that time! That's why alot of Irish hate the English, plus they killed Michael Collins. Watch that movie at least. Gets a brief over view of the time he was living

When is it due?

I seen pictures of some of the ways the English killed the Irish, fúcking brutallity at its worst! Imagine sitting in your cottage and the next thing you get burnt to death by the English! They spared no lifes when they took over Ireland, they took all the land and made the people whom owned the land work on the land for them while the English sat in Mansions and the Irish lived in one room houses! The mansions they had were massive! I was in one and got lost so many times! About 50 rooms in one of them!



Edit : That era was known as the "Plantation" if you are going to research it, some real interesting stuff about it if you find the right facts
