I think with the music conversation, it depends. I'm pretty into music and my taste is so dissimilar from my boyfriends. He's into KMFDM and alternative stuff whereas I'm just all over the place. I like going to a lot of concerts and mostly go by myself so it would be nice in that sense to have a similar taste, but it's not a deal breaker. He's pretty open to trying new genres and I rec him a bunch of bands and shit. It's fun. Whether or not he actually likes it is a different story haha.

But truly in the wide scope of things when it comes to relationships, similar musical tastes are so trivial.
