Wow haven't been here in a while and I'm leaving in a few minutes I got homework to do.

Too bad Mario Kart lost.....

Oh well, deep in my heart I know it is the better game. And no, I've never read Silas Marner.

so, over the last week i've been learning to play Teen Town, and i've found that it sounds much harder than it really is.
i mean, i can basically play it perfectly, and when i finish memorizing it, i'll have a jazzy new song to play whenever i feel the urge.

FUNKNBASS 11-18-2004 08:18 PM

YEah it isnt the hardest song out thier but its really fun to play and its also very technical.

cliffburtonrules 11-18-2004 08:18 PM

n00b question: who plays Teen Town? I've heard of it only from you guys.

That's weird, I found it the exact opposite. I always thought that it didn't sound that hard at all, but when I learned it, it was a bitch to get right.

JACO PASTORIUS

Foxfire 11-18-2004 08:20 PM

I can't get Teen Town down. :upset:

Then again I only tried a few times.

Plus I suck at bass. :p

FUNKNBASS 11-18-2004 08:21 PM

I had to have a horn player I know play the horn part so I could get the timing down right.

Spaceman Spiff 11-18-2004 08:23 PM

i just thought it would be harder because Jaco's playing is fast and such, but Teen Town just isn't as difficult as i expected.
maybe my skill with fingerstyle playing is just progressing.

Spaceman Spiff 11-18-2004 08:27 PM

who was the person here who played the really good 7 Nation Army for a cover comp. a while back?

Dieforitall89 11-18-2004 08:27 PM

Hm...just curious..when you guys are buying a band cd or downloading a song..do you like to get live stuff or the normal albums?

FUNKNBASS 11-18-2004 08:28 PM

I like both. Live stuff can be better sometimes but I always download studio stuff if I havent heard the song before.

Foxfire 11-18-2004 08:28 PM
