Nice making assumptions, asstowel. I don't dislike straightedge, in fact I think it's a great I idea. It only gets annoying when xXxpeopleXxXhaveXxXscreen namesXxXlikeXxXthisXxX. |

Agreed. I'm edge, but I would only x-up my name as a joke. xATOMiCx werd. |
I have a lot of respect for edge kids. If they want Xs in their name, it's all good.

xATOMiCx werd.
I like the idea of edge. In fact, I refuse to drink or do any drugs, but I just don't see the use in calling myself edge. But, if it floats your boat, keep rowing. |

Oh, I'm gonna keep rowing. :p I just don't like the blatant commercialism of it all, i.e. EDGE, and subsidiaries such as STRAIGHT EDGE, STRAIGHT FUCKING EDGE, etc., X swatches, and the like. If it's a band shirt, ok, but if it's only a shirt saying any of the afore mentioned, it's just dumb IMO. As for the Xing-up of the name, I think it's just plain silly. |

Many of my friends don't drink or smoke so it's not hard for me to keep myself away from it. When ever I've been presented with alcohol and such, people have been really cool about it.

Whoa that Route 1 guy's postcount was like 7 000 last night.

I got my amostbitterseason account merged with my current one. |
Has anyone in here seen Hatebreed live before? They're coming here in a little over a week as part of Stillborn Fest, and I'm considering going.
Gonna be so many morons at that show. Slipknot kids and what not.
Yeah, there was when I went to Stillborn Fest last year but its still fun. Except I blacked out or something during Hatebreed and didn't get to watch their whole set. |
Last Saturday night I was on the train and there as at least 100 metalheads on it with me. Ugly metalheads too.
|
They just played Refused when coming back from a commercial on the Cowboys vs Redskins game.

My mother purchased my grandma (who lives with me) a record player for christmas. This means that I will now have access to a working record player and thus, will be investing in some vinyl.

Even if I wasn't edge, his constant complaining everytime someone brings up the topic would still be stupid. |
Or you chould play some Frank Sinatra. Either one.
I actually own a record by Frank Sinatra, I picked it up at a flea market a long time ago. |

No, not really. |
Don't rekindle page-old hate. Enuff is enuff.
|
I love you all. I really do.
No, not really.
Everytime anything is said about edge, you always have something negative to say, or at least you used to. I'm sure no one cares that you "don't feel the need to label yourself" since you talked so much **** about it two months ago. I'm in a bad mood. |
Would anyone participate in a "post your vinyl collection" thread?

Unstable Mind, just msg me, I'll hook ye up with all the crust ye can handle. :naughty: |
K, so I found Through Being Cool, listened to it like twice through, and I remembered that there is one line that I can never really understand, maybe you guys could help.
"I'd rather forget the days we spent than try to stay afloat in shallow water" maybe I'm retarded, but does this mean, from Chris' view, that he doesn't want to forget the memories or does. It's at the end of the song where he turns the girl into fall using a metaphor, one of my favorite songs, but the name escapes me now. Track 7, whichever that is. |
