Geting wasted regularly is overrated.
Hardly. When you pack four Irishmen into a 10x10 room, with enough beer to sink a ship and enough cigarettes to burn the town to the ground, it's a great night.

Simple Man 03-05-2005 01:27 PM
Whenever I see that word now, I subconsciously think it's misspelled and add an extra d.
, Wow, Me too.

Permanent Solution 03-05-2005 01:28 PM

So Bartender, wasn't Jason going to post an FA last night?

/goes to shower, hopes to see answer upon returning ;)

Simple Man 03-05-2005 01:29 PM

I haven't talked to you in forever, Vince.

GurS 03-05-2005 01:30 PM

so now you talk to him twice to make up for it?

RiceMonster 03-05-2005 01:31 PM
Geting wasted regularly is overrated.
Yeah, getting smashed is great, but every weekend is a bit much.

GurS 03-05-2005 01:32 PM

once every two-three weeks does me fine

Jom 03-05-2005 01:32 PM
I think Antihero thinks about this too much.
Haha. Sorry, I guess.

/contemplates leaving MX forever because he got insulted by Bartender for the first time

Simple Man 03-05-2005 01:33 PM
so now you talk to him twice to make up for it?
Actually, I hit Submit Reply twice.

GurS 03-05-2005 01:34 PM

You just can't handle it.

Jom 03-05-2005 01:36 PM
My head hurts. :(

Last night I drank three pints of Guinness, sixteen beers, smoked two resin bowls, and took three hits in a row off a gravity bong. Oh what a great night.
Christ, if you had a tolerance for all that and didn't get a hangover from that, that has to be some crazy record.

That's a lot of booze and other stuff

Bartender 03-05-2005 01:37 PM

Yes, I believe he was.

GurS 03-05-2005 01:37 PM

i've never had a hangover in my life

That wasn't supposed to be an insult :(

Simple Man 03-05-2005 01:38 PM

Last one before I go.

They suck, but it's worth it. I don't think I'm up for one every weekend though.

Jom 03-05-2005 01:41 PM

Well, I mean, I'm glad that I now know that writing articles for R&M would be a waste of time now :)

To think that I had two already done, too :\

I don't get hungover, unless you count a slight headache as such. I never puke either when I'm drunk.

GurS 03-05-2005 01:43 PM

Being a big guy, it takes a lot to get me wasted, a drink, and smoke, a LOT. Yet still never had a hangover

Bartender 03-05-2005 01:43 PM

What do you mean?

Simple Man 03-05-2005 01:47 PM

Bye guys, Talk to you later on tonight.

Jom 03-05-2005 01:47 PM
I don't get hungover, unless you count a slight headache as such. I never puke either when I'm drunk.
Oh, sorry for the misinterpretation, then :(
What do you mean?
What I meant is that, in short, I started themed articles where I would write on certain bands.

I would write about their origins, their discography, biography, their members, upcoming releases (as aforementioned) and anything and everything I felt apropos to put in the articles. I would also upload tracks at the end of the article to showcase the band's evolution (if any... otherwise, it would just be random songs to listen to), biography, and so on. That's all. Now, I know that I don't have to write these articles, so now I have to figure out how to contribute in some other way.

GurS 03-05-2005 01:50 PM

AntiHero, I like your dog

Dried Muffin Remnants 03-05-2005 01:50 PM

Bongs and vodka tonight for me also. It's been so long since I've taken a hit.

GurS 03-05-2005 01:51 PM

Nice. I'm on a sabatical from marijuanna, I've been clean for 30 days now

Jom 03-05-2005 01:52 PM
AntiHero, I like your dog
Thank you :)

GurS 03-05-2005 01:53 PM

Is that dog real, i.e is it really yours? I have a dog of the same breed (I assume it's a Golden Lab?)

thickasabrick 03-05-2005 01:55 PM
Nice. I'm on a sabatical from marijuanna, I've been clean for 30 days now
I'd rep for that if I could. It's harder than most people think, it's addictive in it's own way...like wacking off or something like that.

And what on earth is a sabitical? Does it have something to do with religion, like lent or something?

I just cut down to smoking up only on weekends. I find it works out well, because I can actually focus on school and getting homework done.

Permanent Solution 03-05-2005 01:56 PM

/has never done any drug but prescription/OTCs and alcohol

You're right, my dog is a labrador retriever indeed

The dog in my avatar isn't my own, however. It's a Google dog.

I have some pictures of my dog (yellow lab still), but I would have to upload them and put them on Photobucket.

Bartender 03-05-2005 01:58 PM
Being on sabbatical just means you're taking a break, basically.

zepfan - OTC?

GurS 03-05-2005 01:59 PM

my dog doesn't look like most labs, he's bred to be a gun dog, not a show dog

and cheers to thickasabrick, it's intresting, i've often described marijuana to jacking off many times... it's not an addiction or a need, it's just an... urge

Jom 03-05-2005 02:00 PM
OTC?
Over the counter.

GurS 03-05-2005 02:18 PM

So, I saw the weirdest short movie the other day - it's by Alan Clarke, and it's caled Elephant

Bartender 03-05-2005 02:22 PM

I think I saw yours (or at least someone's) thread on it in the movie forum. What was it about?
Over the counter.
Oh right, thanks.

Jom 03-05-2005 02:25 PM

You're welcome.

It's too quiet in my house. My dad and brother are gone somewhere, and my mom is taking a nap because she had to get up early to cook for an event tomorrow.

I wanted to go downstairs to work out, but I do that to music, and I can't do that with her sleeping. I can't go running because my city didn't plow and there's ice everywhere. I can't practice, and I can't listen to music, because I don't want to wake her up.

It's definitely better being home, though, than it is being at uni. I was tired of my roommate being a douchebag.

GurS 03-05-2005 02:26 PM

Yeh, it was mine.

Basic premise.

You see someone in the street. You follow them for oh, say, 90 seconds. They then pull out a gun. They shoot someone. The walk away, you follow them for another minute. You then focus on the body for a good 2-3 minutes.

This is then repeated another 17 times, but obviously in different scenarios - a field, a petrol station, a warehouse, a flat etc.

No words, no music.

That's the whole film

Independant film, I assume? I'd watch it.
